40's monthly thread until June 30th

Good Morning,

I did KCM's Lift 2 Power Sculpt and then I decided to go for a 2.32 mile walk outside because I thought the temp was finally decent enough but I didn't factor in the humidity it was miserable, we had a storm in the middle of the night so that didn't help. We are headed to the lake this afternoon.

Mary-I don't see GS coming to stay anytime in the near future he is breast fed and I don't think she would allow him to come and stay with us.

Ronne-I hope so.

Jody-every workout is different I will just have to post what I did there is anything from dumbbell work, barbells, kettlebells, HiiT, Tabata, Crossfit the treadmill so not just one catagory.
 
Did cardio leg blast. I was not fully in the mood to workout, but got it done. Maybe it is the heat. So, went to foot doctor. Problem seems to stem from foot surgery I had almost 20 years ago and poor range of motion. There are some other issues but I need to get an X-Ray before we know more. In the interim, the doctor said to keep exercising to keep the range of motion that I have, and he gave me some suggestions for the arch pain and whatnot. I will keep you posted.

Hi all! Today did CB, needed something quick. Roxie, I'm sure eventually they will want to get out and you will get that baby all to yourself! My folks didn't take mine til they were much older, like 10! We wanted away from the kids for so long! Still crazy humid here too. Murphy, hope your foot is ok. Do they think it's scar tissue? Lisa, I don't see the next orthopedist for 2 weeks. You get X-rays next week? Ronne, one legged! Holy cow! You are amazing! I do have to totally re-think my STS plan! Jody, I'm only in if your in! I need the motivation. I'm not thrilled about meso 1, but I LOVE meso 2!! Starting to get ready to leave on Sunday, I have to get organized! Have a good day! Mary
 
Did BS, Bi's and Tri's. I was not paying attention in some areas and went heavier than planned, but it worked out. I guess it was a good mistake. :) I recorded the weight increase for next time - Cathe would be proud.

Mary - the podiatrist mentioned scar tissue. I broke the ball of my foot almost 20 years ago but kept working out on it and etc. for about a month after it was broke so by the time surgery came around it was pretty bad. I had a pin in it for a while to try to fuse things together. You could feel the disconnect and etc. when the doctor manipulated my foot. It hurts enough to remind me it is there, but not enough to stop me from doing things.
Ronne - one legged squats are tough but oh so effective. Congrat's to you for getting it done!

Good Morning,

I went for a 2.42 mile walk this morning it was only 63 degrees out much better then 75. I was going to do CK25 but I ripped a toenail on my chair last night and its just barely hanging on so I didn't want to chance it.

Murphy-health wise I am doing great I think I have lost a couple of inches and my wt has gone down mentally not so great really depressed today. Good job with your workout.

Did a ride premix. I was a bit tired today so modified some of it. I wanted to quit but kept going. One of my assistants is watching me now so I have to get going.

Yesterday I did AT, started it in the morn and got thru 30 min but had to leave so last night I did a Christi step and then tacked on the final 15 min of AT. I didn't want to miss out.

Ronne and Mary enjoy your family and travels, see you when you get back. Lisa, are you walking the dog or anything? don't know if that would be possible or good idea but I thought of you yesterday when I did NOT have tons of dog hair to vacuum up during house cleaning. Murphy, ya do what ya can when ya can. I'm trying to find the line between listening to my body and pushing to get results. Ha ha, my body often tells me to quit, take a nap w/covers over the head. Or maybe that is my head talking. Roxie, in previous post I thought maybe you got shorter but realized inches were not height. I feel not so happy either, I just have to remember to do the next right thing once I figure out what it is.

I am flip flopping on STS vs Rachel Cosgrove Drop 2 Sizes. It is more important to me to lean out than build right now. I like what Ronne said about biting off a few weeks at a time. It is a good time to get STS going and I've owned if for 2 years!

Hi all nothing much knew here. U guess tomorrow a new thread starts for July? Jody, no walking neck brace too bothersome with digging in when upright. 8 more days! Muscles hurt a bit more but I've done nothing to cause it wondering if changes in weather is the cause?
 
Good Evening,

We went to the lake today so no workout. It was only 77 degrees here which is very unusual for this time of year.
