40's in the fall!

Good news everyone! I went to the dentist yesterday and guess what, I get to have a root canal! Yeah me! Insert tons of sarcasm here!!!! I have been in pain for a long time now and finally decided to go see about it and they told me what I expected to hear. Then I got upset when I heard how much it costs. Well, acatually, I don't know how much the root canal costs but the cap and other "after stuff" costs about $1500. I have insurance, 80% so I will have to pay about $550 or so. I was really upset about that until I thought of a friend who was just laid off and her insurance runs out in January. I realized that if I did not have insurance I would be more than happy to pay the $550 so I stopped complaining immediately. Reality check. Anyway, I get it done today and yes, crazy me expects to be doing some Cathe tomorrow. What is my problem? :) I hope the rest of you have a less painful weekend than I am expecting - unless it is DOMS.

Murphy, great positive thinking! That's about what we pay on DH when he gets one (I've never had one). It's so much easier these days, I'm not surprised that you will be able to do Cathe tomorrow, just not that new Intensity one!
 
Murphy, I have had a couple of those, they aren't too bad at all. Just holding your mouth open for awhile, you might be a little sore. It does go away quickly, just a day and best of all you will be pain free!
