40's - heating it up

I thought I would rub it in for those of you who do not have your dvd's yet - mine are here! I was on the phone with DH and he said they were in - nevermind that I don't feel well (like that will stop me) but I am scheduled to work late tonight so will probably have to wait until tomorrow! There is always a catch...

The trainer was tough but my bf% is up 1% my wt. is down 1/2lb she says my body is getting use to the elliptical time to change things up. The gym wasn't as hot today but alot of people don't come to the gym Thursday and Friday nights.
 
I did one of the CrossFire premixes - of course the one with the abs. It was not bad, it was manageable. With that said, I don't think I could have done it all if I was doing the entire dvd. It stopped at just the right time. I wish the ab section was longer and a bit tougher. Unlike Lisa, I did not miss the step at all. I plan to go for ToTheMax tomorrow. Let's see how that goes.

I did STS Meso 1 back/tri the last week of it. Sweated more than I thought I would, must be the humidity here.

Murphy, I'm planning on to the max tomorrow too :) I just couldn't get the energy up to try it today!

So Mary is gone, Ronne is gone, Becky is MIA. Roxie is getting brutalized by heat and her PT. Jody I guess that means you have a lot of workouts to do to make up for everyone! haha

Another hot one here today. I just couldn't get up to workout to tired so tonite I think I will do the exercise bike as a change up.

Lisa-good job with STS and finishing week one hope this heat breaks soon.

Hey, I did Intensity, step only @ around 30 min. I'm sticking to less than 45 min DVD workouts/PM for the indefinite future, 30 min even better. Hopefully that will keep me on track and decrease procrastination and prevent feeling wiped out.
Keep the reviews coming on CrossMax workouts- I'll check my mailbox today.
Tonight I'm going a a kids' play- one of my besties is a theater/drama teacher, so we'll check out the production. I had good sleep last night but I'm low energy today anyway. Bleh. Lisa, don't count on me for extra workouts! Murphy I'm sure any premix is quite respectable from that series. Roxie, I guess you have to look in mirror and think about how you feel to judge your progress. I don't think 1 percent + or - or halvies pounds either way are that big a deal, even though it always feels better to see it go down than up.
 
Jody-that is what I have decided I can see a difference they are just numbers right? I agree on the 30-45 min workouts they are always easier to stick with then those that are longer that is one of the reasons I like KCM.

Tonite I went to the gym and did the Stationary Bike it didn't get as hot as yesterday and the gym was pretty empty.
 
Just finsihed a 40 min ToTheMax premix - the one with the abs ;-) I just realized that at 40 min, that is almost a full workout; not a quickie. It was good. My assistants were here so that might have helped - I had to stop more often than I normally would have.

It is hot here again. Yesterday it was 100 and it is expected to be cooler today, 97! Waves to all. Sorry for the lack of personals.

To the max, done, well, sort of. I knew I would use one less riser than Cathe. Still the HIIT section about killed me, note to self use 1 riser, don't be a hero. The core/ub section looked interesting (as I laid there watching), I tell myself I didn't do it all (only tried each exercise) as I did UB yesterday and am doing UB tomorrow, where in reality, it was hard AFTER the HIIT! I think this is going to be a premix workout for me. I'll probably do it most of the time without the core/ub, then make a workout of the UB with some other of the bonus UB stuff from her other workouts.

Good Afternoon,

I went to the gym this morning and did 14 mins on a stair stepper machine but I didn't like it so I switched to the elliptical and did another 34 mins then I did a round of the wt. machines. My shoulder blades into my neck on the left side is killing me.

Lisa-I am so glad I didn't buy those workouts.

Murphy-good job with your workout.
 
I liked the core in tothemax better than crossfire. I agree with Lisa, the core section would be crazy after all the other stuff and one riser would be best for me too. I tried using two risers and was "grateful" that my assistants were there to interrupt me!

Lisa, Lol to don't be hero comment/two risers. I preview workouts as part of my procrastination process but I think it actually burns calories and builds muscle if you do so with your workout clothes/shoes strategically located near the tv.
Murphy and Lisa, good job jumping in on the new stuff right away.
I know Mary is away, but I looked at a Tonique clip- yep, it is a beast!
Roxie, take care, you sound like you are surviving, not thriving!
I should have worked out today, but ended up staying up til after 2 am- we went out after the play and I had everyone over after that.
Lisa, I'm thinking about my workout plan after next week...I was going to do a lot of LIS/CrossMax stuff but now I'm thinking about what else I can do. Main focus has to be clean eating or nothing will change in my body.
