40's - Happy Mother's Day!

I did do Core Max seg#2, I had to make myself do it. I'm just so tired. It's the kind of tired when nothing is in focus. Will see if I get DOMS in the abs, if so that means I'm out of shape! haha

They may be having DH either work remotely on this NJ acct or find him another acct. Fingers crossed. I'm really missing him this week.

Roxie, does the parenting ever end? I had to deal with DS20 and him wanting an internship and blabbing to his summer water world job and now they want an answer as to if he will be working this summer. I thought we had this settled. For some reason it's an all or nothing with him, he can't just take it as it comes and if something comes up, then give 2 weeks notice. Each child has their challenges they throw at you I guess. On top of that I really just didn't want to go to work today and had to get my fingerprints done for 2 accts I work on (had to fill out 5 fingerprint cards), what a pain and it just is stupid politics. I'm feeling quite crabby.

Just finished TBT UB. It had some core work so I am happy. I upped the weights a bit and it felt good. I am trying to remember to up my weights a bit and not reach for the usual. Now if I can get my butt up and my belly I will be good to go. :)

High five's to all.

Murphy

Hi everyone

Might just be coming out of this lousy cold! Did Pilates today - slightly more work than yesterday and it felt good. The strange thing is that I have no desire to work out really. Normally, when I'm ill I'm desperate to get back to working out but this time I'm just not bothered. Perhaps that's a sign!! I'm going out tonight with one of my BFs, looking forward to it.

Murphy - that UB work is good. I must pull that one out again soon, haven't done it since I finished the LIS rotation.

Lisa - you have to get fingerprinted?! Wow! Re younger DS, I just think that kind of awareness doesn't kick in until you're much older. You're just so much in your own world and what's going on with you, that you just don't think what the wider implications might be.

Roxie - well, you'll be the first grandma in this bunch anyway!

Hi to Mary and Jody.

Good Morning,

I got up and walked on the TM for 40mins and then tonite I am going to Turbo Kick again maybe I can do a better job this time.

Lisa-I hate when I am that tired.

Ronne-sounds like a good workout.

Murphy-good job with your workout.

Ronne - I think you cold is trying to head this way. I am trying to keep it at bay but my little one is coughing and sneezing. I am trying to keep her healthy for our circus tonight. After tonight, if she still feels bad she can stay home one day. I feel bad doing that but....

Hi girls! Today did cardio drills from KPC, the lower body challenge Tracy Effinger. Good combo. Lisa, did you get some sleep? Feeling better? Ronne, glad to hear you are feeling better! Murphy, enjoy the circus! We have 8th grade band concert tonite. I ope it's not to long! Roxie, you are turning into a demon! Jody, what are you doing? Have to get into the shower, enjoy our day! Mary

Lisa, the parenting of our children probably won't end until role reversal and they start to take care of us. Just ask my dad who comes here to fix stuff all the time and my mom who just bought my new tires for my van!

Mary, regarding the x factor, my experience so far (first dvd) was that it wasn't too crazy paced. In fact, I don't use the breaks and sometimes start before they do, but this is just week one. I feel new doms in places, and am hitting abs and back regularly w/o it being a zzzzz.

Murphy, you dtr prob wouldn't want to miss the circus anyway so if she can handle it I'd go for sure. Have fun! I love trapeze artists but elephant acts make me a little sad- elephants are one of my fave wild animals. I like the whole matriarchal society mother to mother support they have going on. : )

Ronne, maybe your dizzy spell a few weeks ago was the cold virus creepin' in? Take care. It makes me uncomfortable to think that you don't want to work out, like all is not right with the world.

Roxie and other yoga gals, one day maybe I will stretch (max), I need it for dance and can feel the lack of flexiness that occurs with regular workouts. But I don't do it. ever.

Today I finished week 1 of the X-Factor (same workout 3 times a week, then new week). Off to community service day.

Hi all, late post for me. I'm not going to get a w/o in today. did the sleep in late thing. DS20 will be over tonight and we will go out to dinner. I'm more convinced that the change in behavior I'm seeing in Yoshi is dementia. It's heart breaking to watch her. I come home find her in the middle of the floor laying there. I settle her on the couch, lays for an hour, gets up wanders downstairs maybe to eat/drink/pee/poop. Comes back upstairs lays aimlessly, I settle her on couch, repeat at least 6 times last night. Same thing in middle of the night when I got up. It's becoming quite distressing to me. I've been emailing my dog friend who helped me with Maddy, she said she saw similar things with her dog she just put to sleep. It's hard to know when it's time but I know we are getting closer. Seeing this in my cat, I am grateful I didn't have to witness this in my parents or DH's parents.

So, guess I'm just a ray of sunshine today.

Ronne, amazing I have to be fingerprinted isn't it. Sure I have access to their data, but it's only change and problem type of data, not personal data like I used to have to State of California Child welfare system. Even more stupid is that for one of the accounts I have to be fingerprinted every 2 yrs, like my fingerprints have changed?

Murphy, enjoy the circus and don't feel bad. As long as your DD enjoys it no harm done.

Mary, enjoy the concert, sometimes I miss them, sometimes I don't

Roxie, glad you are making up w/o's for me :)

Jody, guess I'm feeling stressed about parenting and aging animals.....feeling a vacation wanting to come on!

Good Evening,

Tonite DH decided we needed to go for a bike ride and he said he was going to burn my ass off and I think I did very well but I know there are areas that are going to hurt tomarrow. We rode 9.16 miles around our local lake.

Lisa-your welcome

Hi all

Murphy - hope the little one (and you) are OK and keeping that cold at bay!!

Mary - that's a very creative workout!! I haven't got the brain space to be creative at the moment!

Jody - that's so sweet!! You really should join us in the world of stretching! Once you start, you'll never want to miss it again!!

Lisa - poor cat! Sounds pretty miserable. Hang in there - I'm sure you'll make the right decision when you need to.

Roxie - Impressive - nice to get outside and be active as well.

Well, I ramped it up a bit more today. Did the Total Sculpt premix from LIC original. Just about right. Feeling OK now and not too wiped out. Might try some cardio tomorrow!!

Hi all. Rest day for me. We got back late from the circus and the kids were hungry so they ate something then went to bed. They had a great time and the traffic was not bad coming or going. Plus, we had great seats. All in all, it was a good night. I was so tired I just hit the alarm and went back to sleep. I feel good, rested. I just realized something, the cold I thought I was getting must be allergies b/c I feel "sick" again. I am not used to having seasonal allergies and everytime this "feeling" comes on I think I am getting sick. Okay, time for allergy pill. I hate popping pills.

Hi to all. BTW, anyone else surprised the filiming was completed so quickly. I guess it should have been done quickly, only two programs to do. I am guessing she will send them out right before or right after the roadtrip. Yeah.

Murphy

Good Afternoon,

My thighs are screaming after last nights bike ride, tonite I am suppose to meet with PT but she had to cancel she is going to send me a workout for tonite.

Murphy-my allergies are horrible right now I have been sneezing like crazy the last two days. We need some rain to calm things down.

Ronne-good job with ramping up your workout.

Hi ladies, well, I actually got up at a decent time this morning, was about ready to w/o then my sister called....how do I get a book from your dropbox to the nook? WHAT? You have to call at 6AM to ask this????????????? Boy, good thing I wasn't sleeping or I would have been crabbier than I am. I cut her short so I could get in my w/o of LIC cardio only. I'm hoping to get to BM2 Double UB minus abs then maybe I'll be back on track.

Murphy, I started seasonal allergies when I was about 41-42. I thought I had a cold then too and couldn't figure out why I couldn't shake it. A co-worker made the suggestion that it was allergies.....I swear sometimes it takes me so long to catch on...selective memory I guess.

Roxie, you don't pay when you are sent a w/o do you? what kind of w/o was sent?

Ronne, glad you are feeling better, I need to get less stress somehow. Maybe after I tie up a few loose ends from DH's retirement things will start to settle down. DH will be home next week and then they will be putting him on another acct, hopefully one that doesn't require as much travel. They seem to realize 100% travel is very taxing which is good.

Mary/Jody, where are you lovely ladies?

Lisa-no I don't pay it was my idea she send me one and I haven't gotten it yet.

Hi girls! Late today! I did a w/o I got at Marshall's, Jeanette Jenkins, boot camp. Too much up and down! Then I did YM. Roxie, I would be very afraid of the work out the trainer is sending you! Murphy, I love the circus! As I have become more mature, I find I have more allergy symptoms. Maybe it's an aging thing? Ronne, so glad you are starting to feel better! Lisa, 6am? Maybe she just couldn't wait to read a certain book? When will DH be home? Jody, what are you up to? Today we did garage sales. Got some great lawn chairs at a bargain! Hope everyone has a good evening! Mary

Lisa, I took Rose Madder, King recently. (But its good to know I can call you if I have problems moving stuff, lol). I've lost interest in 50 for now. BTW, it drives me crazy that she was a college grad and didn't own her own lap top before he came along.

Other books I've requested from library after browsing at BN the other day- Breasts: a natural and unnatural history. Incognito: the secret lives of the brain. and Sisters of the Sari.

Mary, I heart garage sales but on Thurs?? That's crazy talk there.

Roxie, Re thighs sceaming- I know the endurance or cardio wasn't that hard for you (you do that all the time) so it must have been the novelty of bike ride. Good times. : )

Murphy, I'm wondering the same thing about allergies for myself. Glad yall have fun. Doesn't it feel like heaven to feel rested?

Ronne, glad you are moving in a positive direction!

Oh, workout today was teaching dance class and working at natural area clearing trash x 3 hours. I wanted to do a cathe but not gonna happen today. Tomorrow is wk two of xfactor.

Good Evening,

Trainer wanted me to do a workout using the Bosu but I don't own one of those and I think they look like ankle breakers so I did SJP w/Wts. used one step riser and 20lb barbell and gave myself a good workout but my thighs hate me.

Jody-that sounds like and interesting book about breasts, I am almost done with Nora Roberts Witness.

Mary-it was a scary workout.

I did do BM2 UB tonight, woot!

Mary, DH is coming home tonight. He is in the doghouse right now. Why? Well, we've been trying to finalize the retirement selection, was looking to get life ins privately instead of taking the less payout for coverage thru the company should he pre-decease me. Well, uh, tobacco showed in his urine, saaaaay whaaaaat? That caused privately insuring to be too costly. no big deal, we have the option to cover me by choosing the spousal option on retirement. HOWEVER, wth? tobacco? uh, yea, guess he started his chewing bandits habit again, said was to deal with the stress. When we married he smoked (not much, maybe 1/2 pack a week), well after a couple months of marriage I told him to quit smoking or quit kissing me, guess I"m lucky he quit smoking, but he did develop the irritating tobacco habit. I haven't seen those little bandit packets for years, thought he was over it. So we need to have a little talk. This man would do anything for me and I'm fearing he's killing himself working so hard to provide for me not to work. Guess I have to suck up not complaining about my boring job so much because I'd rather keep him longer in this life! And for every bandit pouch he chews, that that much less time he will be with me, right?!?!? I'm 8 yrs younger than he is as it is and after this week of missing him I want him around as long as possible! Then the other thing we've been putting into place is long term care ins. Well, they are raising the rate previously quoted because they say his bp needs to stay below 140/90, what?!?!?!? I thought we got it under that! Got to thinking, I had the BP readings from the life ins nurse visit, the LTC nurse that visited the same day was pretty pathetic, couldn't write, didn't mark the right box when we answered her question, then I could swear the bp readings were below 140/90 except one (when his work phone rang), but I had no proof. On top of that, she took it with a home BP machine, whereas the life ins nurse took it with cuff and stethoscope. So I've provided the numbers and the underwriters are re-evaulating it . So, even if we didn't get the life ins, maybe we had to go thru all that because of the BP stuff. Hope that all makes sense! So, now my next mission is to MAKE HIM WALK 30 min at night with me when he is home. He hates cardio and thinks lifting is good enough, sigh! I keep telling him I'm trying to keep him around and if he can't do it for him, do it for me!

Jody, I'm close to the end of the second 50, it's getting to hopefully a resolution and not so much fluff stuff. Will see. Glad you are enjoying my dropbox, I have lots that's not out there on my computer hard drive but not the ones you mentioned.

Did AS today, a 47 min workout turns into 55 min with breaks :p I have lead in my legs and my shoulders are tired so arm movements were even trying. I did it though!
