Jody, I actually nailed the choreog ! Was so proud of myself, maybe the no risers helped? Also didn't do burpees, just marched in place. I have a Kenmore HE side loader. As far as washers go, I'm happy with it :)
 
Unbelievable! Just got called, they are bringing me back to work on Jan 2nd. Same mgr, same job, I asked about my laptop if they still had it with everything installed and my contracting manager guessed that they probably had. I sure hope so, I don't want to set up my machine again!

Oh, I said yes I'd come back, otherwise I wouldn't get my unemployment insurance. and the IBM mgr is really easy to work for as far as time off and working from home, etc.

This is just silly! I was going to take off all these days anyway (and it would have been with no pay--whereas I've been collecting my unemployment money), so WHAT DID IT SAVE THEM LAYING ME OFF????????????? Now I'm convinced it was some executive trying to make his numbers to get his bonus!
 
Hi all! Did Tabatacize today. Lisa, congrats! At least you won't have to job hunt? And you got the time off and paid to boot! Glad the massages are helping. Jody, you have a lot planned for our break! I have a front loading washer, not that happy with it, I would definitely get a top loader. The front loader gets musty, my old one never got that way. Busy day, 2 basketball games, 2 parties, family coming into town, shopping wrapping, have to get to grocery store, I'm getting overwhelmed! Haha! That's what I get for going to Vegas! I did LLA TS #3 then Shape Abs Core. Its cold here today which is good because the oven is going to be running all day, DH is making frosted cookies which isn't a good thing because they are delicious and I am making chex mix to take to his sisters tomarrow and give the kids some for christmas.

I did LLA + bonus barre this morning.

Mary, I leave my door open on my washer, I read where that helps with the musty smell. I've never smelled anything musty, maybe that is why?
 
Lisa, good ides, but my washer/dryer are in the kitchen, hidden behind cabinets, it would make me CRAZY th leave it open! My OCD won't let me do that! Lol!

We got 5" of snow on top of a sheet of ice so traveling today is going to be interesting because where we are going got anywhere from 5.5-8" and they don't clean their streets very well.
 
Lisa, I remember you saying you liked LiCh and that I would too once I got the choreo so I'm not giving up on it yet. Congrats on the job. You said you thought that might happen.

Mary, a friend of mine keeps a folded wad of paper towel in the door of his washer to keep it cracked open within its closet location. Not sure if it would make a dif. How is your holiday going to go this year? Travel? DH home? Family visit?

I didn't w/o yesterday, this morning I completed a KCM Plateau buster. I like that workout. I'm also energetically smudging the home, dd alarm didn't go off and she was quite angry this morning. Second day in a row of alarm issues and late for stuff, I think Santa's going to bring her a new clock.

Jody-I have a whirlpool top load he wouldn't buy anything but that brand and its ok seems like it takes longer for clothes to get washed or maybe because its in the kitchen and I can here it before we moved it was in the basement.
 
I haven't worked out yet, I want to, just waiting for my stomach to settle. DS21 really upset me yesterday (told me that when I talk to his dog it makes the dog listen less when you give commands, OMG! This was after being told by him and his GF not to give him treats when I gave the other dogs treats (we are talking about home made dog treats, not junk)....really fed up with his rules and would prefer him to go back to his apartment (the one I pay for). I then had me a snack last night and about 30 min later I was puking everything up...surely it had to be something I ate (threw out the spread I used on my Kashi waffle, maybe it was bad). I was throwing up for 2 hrs, stomach is still trying to feel better (maybe the other end? TMI...lol). I did lose 2 lbs! :) I do not recommend this type of way to lose weight, I could never be a bulemic (or however you spell it)!

Roxie, wow, that's a lot of snow! It's cold here, snowed maybe 1/2 and inch last night.

Jody, trying to figure out what 'energetically smudging the home' is....whatever it is, I have no energy for anything, I keep hoping the energy fairy comes, I just feel so pukey. The one thing I hate the most is throwing up, ugh! Oh, I find myself saying 'Hence why' now :)
 
Lisa, I just made that up. Smudging is when you take a smudge stick (a bundle of herbs) and light it and go room to room, saying prayer and clearing the bag mojo. I wasn't up for all that so I set my smart phone on some prayer type chakra woo woo music from you tube, asked for blessings and left the phone in the room. Intention is worth something, right?

Ugh to DS situation, remind him who gets to make up the rules in your house?
Ugh ugh to being sick, I hope it passes quickly, even if it is number two, lol.

Roxie, my previous machine was a WP too, but this latest one, the Cabrio, is just a lemon.

Hi girls! Today did premix from Intensity. Lisa, gosh I hope you feel better! That sounds miserable! Sorry about DS, I would be wound up about that! Most of all I hope you feel better! Jody, maybe some yoga to help with the positive energy? Roxie, that cold is coming this way! 64 here now, 20 something by bedtime! Had to close my our checking account because of the whole target mess, such a pain! Had to take out a wad of cash, not use to that! Painful to part with! Does make me think more! I'm starting to feel better, no w/o, no number two either though I'd prefer that to vomiting!

Mary, I make dog treats because Suki is allergic to chicken, chicken is in soooooo many dog treats! I'm running low on them and gave to make up some more, so far the pb ones are the biggest hit, though DS dog, German Shorthair pointer, likes anything and inhales them. I think I should make ds help me with the next batch. I guess ds and I made up, he's taking his frustrations with the dog out on me..... Funny how we easily hurt those we love because we know they will forgive us.....

I'm really pissed, I had PLANNED to take this time off anyway and then they lay me off, now they want me back asap???????????? What happened, did everyone else take off??????????????? So I'm the lap dog?????? I'm trying to figure out what to say to them, if I turn them down, no unemployment money. I"M PISSED how they treat people at this company!
 
Did another X10 mix. Just the right amount of time. Still cannot move like I used to or as heavy, but am moving and lifting so I will take it. I have about 5 or so more treatments to go and I feel good. I am trying to stay non-stressed during the holiday season. MIL comes today so say a prayer that things go well. She has dementia and it is hard on DH and the kids.

Lisa - I hope you are feeling better. Good luck w/ IBM.
Mary - sorry to hear you got mixed up in that Target mess. It really does make you think now. Good luck w/ it.
Jody - I did not catch what is up w/ the washing machine, but I think I too have a WP. It is a top load and I like it.

Good Afternoon,

The bosses told me to stay home today it was snowing there and the roads were icy. I cleaned house, did laundry, walked on the TM did Shape Abs and SM #1.

So, turns out ASAP is the 2nd as I was told originally, I'm now bartering for the 6th since I had planned to take all this time off anyway. The exact words were " we need you back as if nothing ever happened", uh, something DID happen. If that is what the contractors are hearing I'm sure the contracting company needs to hear it so that IBM can fix how they "make their numbers". Some higher up pencil pusher decided who got cut, and now the business is suffering. I told them I'd like a pay raise (hahahaha), I guess others are a bit miffed too and asked as well. I hope the contracting company raises a stink with IBM.

Anyway, I did get FT in and a 2 mile dog walk, went grocery shopping and planned the next weeks menu. I hate that task! with a passion!

Murphy, I'm beginning to feel like 2 lb dumbbells are normal .... hahahaha, better than nothing! I did one arm rows with 5lbs, woo hoo, I'm strong....LOL I'd much rather play it safe than make the muscle hurt in a bad way in my neck. bicep curls with 3 lbs, woot! My neck muscle is hurting but more from the stress of the work games we play. DH and I had combined almost 60 yrs as IBMers and it isn't the same company we started with, and for me, I'm just there to collect a paycheck as a contractor, as there is less games that must be played :)
