Hee hee, do you like the title of the thread? Lately I haven't felt 20, so I guess it's wishful thinking on my part. I'm about to start BM2, I did the UB and abs yesterday and today I'll do the rest, I just couldn't face it all in ONE day, maybe if I was 20. :p

Hi all,

Today is boxing and abs with Michael Olajidae, a cardio workout. It is hard work, but I like it.

Lisa - I did plyo legs the other day and OMG, I must have blocked it out. I did not use weights bc of my wrist, but I still felt it. How did I ever do it before?

Murphy

Hi girls! Hope all is well with everyone. Today I did a Jari w/o, ripped 1000, haven't done it in a long time! I just ordered the Terminator, it is on sale this week and I have been wanting it for a long time! I was bad and ordered a Ilaria w/o this weekend too! I haven't done a plyo legs for a while, I will have to work one in sometime soon! Murphy, I do like that Micheal, his voice puts me in a trance! Very hypnotizing. Lisa, I don't know if I want to be 20 again, maybe to have that 20 yr old body back again and appreciate it more! Well, need to make lunch for the troops! Have a good day. Mary

Hello everyone

I was a bit under the weather yesterday so kept a low profile. Back to normal today. I did C&W which was a real blast from the past . Not doing a rotation now but I'm going to do a mixture of circuits, cardio and yoga for something different until we go away.

Mary - you never told us about your holiday. Did you have a good time? Did you go on loads of rides? It was Disneyland wasn't it?

Murph - I do sometimes think Cathe's DVDs are like childbirth. It's like the hormones wipe your memory!

Lisa - I NEVER do BM2 in its entirety :D Did it once and it is not an experience I wish to repeat!

Bye for now!

Hi All,

Okay, it is legs and glutes time. I borrowed the L&G dvd from a friend. She said no rush to get it back to her, but you know w/ Cathe dvd's that is code for, "you know what, never mind, give it back!" :) I have only had it for a week so I am not that bad. I told her I would give it back to her by Friday. BTW, does anyone have BC or ME? Worth buying?

Scubagirl - you are so right, Michael O's voice is hypnotic. Not enough to forget you are exercising, but very nice.

Hi all! Another picture perfect day here! Just did a Leslie w/o, wore my weighted vest to make it a little more challenging. Murphy BC/ME is definitly worth the investment, BC is lots of fun and goes fast, ME has 3 sets of leg presses (not my favorite!) Maybe it will become a weekly special soon and you can save 30%? Ronne, vacation was good, Disney was in May, (lots and lots of rain!) June, we rented a cottage on the lake, (Lake Erie, mind you) with family, lots of fun, the cousins all had a ball being together. We need to plan another vacation, gives us something to look forward too, Our youngest wants to go to Utah to find dinosaur fossils! Lisa, how are you? Still cooking for Madison? She is a lucky dog! Hi to all that follow, We have another t-ball game, have been lucky and held onto my front row seats all season! Mary

Hey everyone! Where has the time gone! The days seem to fly by!

Today was LIC....why do these workouts never seem to get any easier? :p Yesterday was 4DS Bootcamp cardio only. I thought of Andrea and her bootcamp while I was doing it. I was glad I wasn't in a real class where people could see me, my legs feel like lead a lot these days! I think my 3 mile walk PRIOR to working out is impacting my energy.

Mary, you are funny about your front row seats! Yes, still cooking for Madison, she's moved up to more just the same food we are eating that night (with modifications as needed of course). she's been coughing a lot these days, and I started to worry about her. Some days she'll cough all afternoon, evening, night, others nary a cough. So, I spent $165 at the vet for him to tell me she looks ok, don't need to do anything yet for congestive heart failure or trachea collapse. I wonder why some days she is worse, I'll hvae to take notice and try to figure it out. I feel like a detective.

Murphy, I don't have that CAthe DVD. www.advancedworkouts.com has good prices on older dvds of CAthe's

Ronne, I just can't get "into" the oldies (apart from IMAX2 of which I know you aren't a fan). They are nice to pull out once in a while for a change of pace though. I barely got through BM2 over the course of 2 days! OMG, I've only done this one once through too and knew I'd never do the whole thing ever again!

Andrea, are you out there? Working hard? How's bootcamp?

Oh, and let me toot my son's horn a bit. He got a 5 on his AP Chemistry exam. That's the highest you can get and that gets him 9 credits in college! That's a whole years worth of Chemistry!

That's about it here, I think...later!

Hi everyone

Murph - you must buy BC/ME! I love BC, it's one of my favourites. ME is quite similar to MM if you've got that (with a ^&%$£ of a bicep section). BC is just fun!

Lisa - 3 mile walk and then 4DS Bootcamp? No wonder you struggled! LIC gets me every time. I start off thinking it's not too bad and then it gets to the push-up section and I almost cry!
Congrats to your DS on his Chemistry exam! That's fantastic!

Mary - that sounds like a really nice holiday on the lake. Are you going away again during the school holidays? DD finally finishes tomorrow for 6 weeks. I know it will fly past.

Yesterday I did a Christi Taylor step and today I did an hour of yoga, which was fantastic. Although my zen-like calm lasts about 2 minutes after getting back to my desk ;)!

Have a good one!

Hey there! Well, I did CCv1 on the bike today. I think the bike is my least favorite cardio, but it's so helpful when your joints (and back) need a break.

Ronne, I'm soooooo glad to hear LIC is tough for you. I always start out thinking not so bad, but then those bicep exercises, I have to pause it! I wish I could get into yoga, I'm sure it'd help my aching lower back....I'm soooo bad about stretching. My sis got me a 1 hr massage, I'm thinking of giving it back though because she ticked me off about questioning the fact that I'll spend money on the dog but not on myself....it's my money, I'll spend how I please! Last year I bought a lot of Cathe and equipment for me, this year I spend on Maddy. I like the lady that does the massage, but it's a chore for me to get there.

Here's the latest pic of Maddy after she got groomed for those of you not on FB. We had a mobile grooming service come to us, it was nice, I will definitely use them again even though they are a bit more expensive, she's worth it!
Yep, I'm a proud momma!

Hi guys!!

Flying by, saying hi and bye. Lisa, love the threads title! And I love the pics of your pooch, shes lovely. I've taken the week off working out and I feel great! back into it all, probably over the weekend.
Hope everyone is well. See yas.

Hi everyone! Just a quick hello. Did a timesaver w/o today. Just tired today, I even took a nap, I heard the kids in my twilight sleep "Is she really sleeping? I never see her sleep?"' Kind of funny! Lisa, Madison is beautiful! I haven't done LIC in so long, need to pull that one out too! Andrea, hello, we have missed you! Ronne, good for you with the yoga! I have tried it, it doesn't seem like a good fit for me! Murphy, where are you? Where the heck has Kathryn been? anyway, gotta run! Kids are calling. Have a good night all! Mary

Hello all

Andrea - glad you enjoyed your rest week. What are you going to throw yourself into next?

Mary - sometimes a nap is just what you need isn't it?!

Lisa - love the dog pics! My SIL is a dog groomer - she works in a shop and goes to people's houses.

Today I was a bit short of a time so did a 30 min premix from Kickbox Surge. It was fantastic - I got nice and sweaty and felt like I'd worked really hard and made the most of the time.

Got DD and friend here now they've finished school. We're going to bake some brownies! (And I'll be sending half home with DD's friend! ;))

Have a good weekend everyone.

Hi ladies! I did Disc 26, Plyo, I didn't think I had the energy but I did good (maybe because I lowered some of the weights). Anyway, I didn't even hit pause when she said "you aren't pausing at home are you?", but then I did hit pause a couple exercises later.

Ronne, I could have used your SIL ! Most of the groomers here where you take them in, the dogs have to have a Bordetella shot (kennel cough). My dog isn't ever around any dogs to get kennel cough and with her compromised health I didn't want to give her a shot that REALLy didn't benefit us. So, I called one groomer and she said she would come to my house and would call me back. She never did....I assumed that meant that she thought about it and decided she really didn't want to do it. So I set out finding one of those petmobile services and found one that serviced our area, it worked great, I will use them again!

Mary, when I nap in the afternoon, everyone knows it's abnormal for me too, if I do it, you KNOW I'm tired and need it. Sounds like it's the same for you.

I gotta run ladies, so much to do, so little time, and I got a late start (I slept in instead of getting up at 5:30, I got up at 6:15, shame on me!) :p

Hi all,

Been a little crazy latley. Let's see, I did DM, B&G, Michael O (jumprope/boxing), Wii, and some other stuff this week, plus abs that I am still feeling. So, I have been a bit sore all of over this week, good DOMS.

Have a great DOMS weekend everyone!

Murphy
