Hi good morning. Today is CTX upper body and 30 minutes of cardio in my rotation. I will try RS again in my 30 minutes of cardio. RS is difficult but it seems fun when you have learnt all the steps. Judy no mistake today;-) ;-) . Wendy How are you ? I hope you will feel OK today.Jes I hope you will receive KPC/L & G soon. To substitute KPC you can use Cardio kicks. I am sure you know it. Aaaarg everybody is doing the january rotation except me. Have a great day everybody.

Mariangeles.... why don't you jump into the JAN rotation and join us? today is KPC(day two for me) one of your favorites right?

Should I remind you of the date or are you just teasing us. See we are doing the JAN rotation because it is JANUARY. LOL

BTW I would love to "hear" yor accent! My in laws are hispanic and I love their accent. We thought WE invented the name "Spanglish" years ago and now a movie has come out with the same name!

Good morning Judy and Mariángeles...I'm not doing any rotation Mariángeles!!! But I did get Hardocre Kickbox Circuits with Janis Saffell because you liked it so much...and RS is quite fun when you get all the steps.

Today I am doing PH Chest and back, Cathes ab marathon and maybe a 4 mile run to see how my legs feel. This afternoon I might try the new Kickbox DVD...:)...Carole
 
Morning everyone,

No more days off of work. :( I came home from work last week Thursday to find my two DD's on the sofa and they both had fevers. At least they are back to school and both doing fine now. I had the day off yesterday for our holiday and enjoyed the time to myself sewing drapes for the living room.

Yesterday I did PS & MIS Shoulders, MIS Abs, and step portion of MIC. Today I will be doing PS & MIS Biceps and Intervals from IMAX.

What's up fitness freaks??!!! i have to go tho the dentist in about oh 10 mins and i am still drinking coffee....just for a cleaning..nothing serious. i have never had a cavity and i am hoping i will hear that i still don't have any. we'll see. then shopping, so i won't wo until tonight....great

Mari, whay aren't you doing the Jan rotation? is it b/c you already started one when it was posted? I checked the shipping date and my KPC should be here Friday. HI-YA (that was a kick with flailing chop arms...did you see it?? }(

This morning was KPC. So happy I did it; was not in the mood for it.

Jes - I applaud you for doing SJP. If you find the moves uncomfortable, do you at least like the music? I think you're going to really like KPC because it is intense, but has only a very few high impact moves.

Wendy - thanks for the info on the weighted gloves. I'll check out those online sites, too. Great to hear that you're feeling better! Two tough workouts yesterday! Wow!

Sandy - Nice modifications with SJP yesterday. My first exposure to Cathe hi/lo was MIC, so any other of her hi/lo has seemed easy by comparison. I'm so glad she has never repeated the MIC hi/lo on other workouts!!

Mariangeles - I'm cracking up about the date situation. I'm still not sure whether you intentionally put 4 December today, but you have amused me greatly. And I love a good tease :)

Laurie Mac - your strength training boggles my mind. How do you manage to do PS and MIS together? My heavens.

Josie - nice to see you back!

Katie - I'm so sorry about this awful decision you had to make! I completely agree that you made the right one, but it sure could not have been easy. Every time I see a news story about a child mauled by the family dog, I shake my head. Thank heavens that will never happen to your daughter. We used to share a house with another couple. When they were expecting their first child, they gave their beloved beagle to a family living on a farm. I know they really struggled with this decision, and it caused them a lot of pain, but after the baby was born they came to accept it as having been the right one.

Judy - that's a creative modification to the hi/lo in SJP. I love hearing how different people personalize workouts.

I saw your post Jes...it seems those dark haired boys always get to me...so I married one! But he of course has a bit of grey living with me!

Sandra...I forgot to say, I have 1.5 weighted gloves I got at Walmart. Under $10 I believe. I love them...:)...Carole
 
OK, I am going to commit to the Jan Rotation. I always looked at the rotations and thought, "I don't have all of those workouts." Well, time and the good people at VISA have made that less and less true! I have enough to stick pretty close to it.

In for a penny, in for 10 pounds, I guess!

It is early enough to jump in and not feel left out. Guess I just talked myself into it. KPC it is - I also follow up with my Nordic Trak just in case Cathe has not provided enough torture.

Morning all. I want to thank everyone for their kind words and support in out decision with our dog. It was such a difficult decision and although I feel a tremendous amount of guilt and sadness, I know we did the right thing.

On to happier things, I did Leaner Legs this morning followed by cardio from Kickbox. My legs are going to be feeling this workout in the morning! I want to curse at the TV every time Cathe says "Now for low ends!" with a big smile on her face.:)

I COULD NOT fall asleep last night--being back at work must get me keyed up--so was super tired this morning. I did Workout 3 on Timesaver plus the first step combo on Workout 1. I didn't feel very into it, but got through it.

Today I'll be doing MIC (step) and All step (cardio). That will be after my mother and grandmother come for a visit....hope i'll have time!!

Hi Everyone,

Today was KPC. I did it with the 1lb weighted gloves and it was alot of fun. Just enough resistance. I really got into it-it felt like a brand new workout:).

Mariangeles -thanks for asking-I do feel MUCH better today. Don't worry about the December thing, I will probably still be writing 2004 down in July!:)

Judy- My goodness, a bunch of us are doing the January rotation-it's going to be alot of fun.

Carole-let me know what you think of your kickbox DVD. I forgot about the ab marathon - thanks - maybe I'll do that tonight-isn't it KPC, PUB and ME abs?

Laurie Mac-sorry to hear the family wasn't feeling well-Glad to hear everyone is fine now.

Jes- I'm a dental hygienist so I'm glad you didn't say anything too bad about going to your dental appointment:)No cavities I hope. Did the hygienist remind you to FLOSS, FLOSS, FLOSS!:) By the way, nice kick.

Ok I am back on track and I am not doing the January rotation, I don't have alot of the workouts nor the time involved with some of the workouts themselves. I did PUB Up only premix then did CTX 10-10-10 for cardio. With getting back on track with the boys and school and trying to fit in my workout it will take a few days to get fully back in the swing of things. I need to get back with eating right too.

Carole, i personally LOVE grey. For halloween i was a playboy bunny (no comments Sandra!)and Dh was Hugh Hefner and we did his hair salt n pepper so he would look the part. it was so sexy i made him keep the rest of the can to use at a later date. i thought it looked great. he says the dogs and i will make him grey soon enough! }(

Wendy...No cavities! i would never say something unkind about dental hygenists....i have never minded going to the dentist, but besides that, you have a tough job. some people's teeth are disgusting!!! x(

i still have to do my workout. since KPC should be here Fri. i think i will sub SB for today and Sandra's add on of ME abs.

Hi everyone!

Today was powerflex at the gym and tomorrow is advanced step. The rest of the month I am actually taking a break from the gym so I can concentrate on the January rotation!!

Again I would love to post individually but being that I am posting so late I am soooo incredibly tired. Plus I usually post quite often during the day...at work:+ :+ }( but I've had problems with my computer since coming back from the holidays so I am hoping these helpdesk people can resolve this for me by tomorrow or I am going to SCREAM!!!!!!!!!!!!}( x( ! Ughh I hate that as I really miss yapping with all of you!

I was planning to do the whole KPC for my first day every doing the rotation, but I am hikin tomorrow and my partner called and between the 2 of us we stepped up what we were doing by a notch or 2. We were going to do an 8 mi hike with about 2500 in gain. Now we are going to another 8 mile/2500 trail, but it is in snow, so I'm dusting off my snowshoes. We will be out for about 6 hours and most calorie calculators put snowshoeing at 600/hour if you are climbing. They are also add to the quad workout because the shoes weigh about 3 lbs each. It's going to be a fun one. We are ramping up for a 6K gain, 4 mile round trip - yes, straight up - in Feb. Don't want to be too tired and be caught out in the snow bonking out, so I only went up to the little cool down in KPC before Cathe gets darn right evil in those drills.
But, I did make my first rotation day!!!
