4 days post op!!

hey yall!!

I had my breast reduction surgery tues. I stayed in the surgery center one night and got back home wed morning. I have alot of swelling and bruising. But overall, I feel GREAT!!!! it will take awhile before i can resume Cathe .. but right now i am concentrating on drinking lots of H2O and resting. I think if i play my cards right i can start in about 5 wks.. right after Christmas. I was about a 40DD/DDD now i am a 38C :) I am thrilled and i feel like a new woman. My DH is being the best nurse possible.. and friends and family are helping out tons. I am in a sports bra now and i think i look great. I can only imagine the freedom i am gonna have now to tear up some Cathe step!!!!!! And MIC here i come in due time. No more pain from these huge boobs !! I think i will finally drop the rest of this weight once and for all. Its amazing what a difference it makes having smaller breasts. He removed about 2lbs from my rt breast and 1.? from the left.. i was not symmetrical?? mispelled.Excuse this is it makes no sense.. on pain meds *coo koo* Anyway. I am gonna go watch tv and drink water...and dose off every 10 minutes lol .. Love u all

Sounds like you are doing wonderfully!! Glad that you checked in with us. I would love to be a 38 C I haven't been a C cup since High school. I am a 36 DD now and will just have to live with it. Dh's insurance doesn't pay for reduction for any reason.:( I am glad that you are doing well sounds like you will be back at Cathe in no time flat.:) Take it easy and recover fully:) Prayers are with you!!!

They are certainly heaven sent for me at least. I was discharged with Mepergan Forte .. which made me stupid !! but worked great.. i am now down to a Darvocet N 100 about every 4 hrs . :)Sorry if i am behind.. but what kinda surgery did u have Donna ?? I have been out of commision for a bit :)

Can't wait to hear when you get to do MIC the very first time! Give Nurse Hubby a BIG hug! Use this time to view your Cathe tapes/DVD's. Good to "see" you here.
