4 Day Rotation Help

Hi all!
I was wondering if I could get some help/advice on setting up 4 day rotations. I used to do 6 days per week and got great results, but right now it's just not do-able for me. I am burnt and need some rest, but still want to workout. I also found myself very weak and ravenous doing my 6 day/wk workouts, even though I seemed to be eating everything in sight!! (clean for the most part, of course ;) )

I just got "4 day split" so naturally I am starting there. I found a rotation Cathe made up for this series and am going to follow that first. But, any suggestions for future rotations? Anyone have any experience only working out 4 times per week and still getting results? My fear is not getting results! I'd like to just lean out all over and lose some body fat. Right now I'm in the "normal" BMI range, so I'm just looking to shape up a bit, nothing dramatic needed.

I have this strange thought that I'm not fit when I'm not working out, so cutting back is going to be mental torture, but my body really needs the rest!!!

Thanks for any advice!

:)CC

No worries

Its HIIT to the rescue! What I mean by that is sneak some interval training into your cardio and you should be fine. Don't be afraid of the upper end of your target heart rate range. I see 185 when I'm really pushing it. And don't be afraid of an increase in appetite. Feed it well with lots of vegetables and healthy fats. Hunger is (at least in my case) an indication of too little healthy fats. Try adding some evening primrose oil (capsule is fine) as a supplement or upping your intake of fish (salmon is excellent.) if you can eat fish.

Thanks!

Thanks for the response! I am actually currently doing the "un-named" series. I love Drill Max and LIC!! Cathe actually replied with a rotation for me too, so I'm excited about that!

Can you get primerose oil at a health store? I LOVE salmon, so that will be easy!! Any other "healthy fat" suggestions? :)

Thanks again for your response!
