Good morning!
This morning I did All-Step and PUB, minus the planks/pikes. I'm very easily winded these days; it's like I've regressed two years in my cardio training. Oh well, that's a good thing. At this point in my failed pregnancy I was still working out full blast, because I still had the energy for it. Being this tired is very reassuring.
Josie, that fall was horrific!! What went through your mind as your face was careening towards the pavement? I am sending lots of good healing vibes your way. I hope your recovery bed is surrounded with photos of the grandson?
Sandy, so you found LL easier that LG, hey? I find just the opposite. I wonder if the amount of weight we each use on the different workouts makes the difference. Didn't you about want to keel over during the plie low-ends, at the end? They get me every time! The music in LL barely registers for me. Ergo, I find it better than the rest of the series

I use the CTX series as pepper throughout my month, so I don't get exposed to the music too frequently. In small doses I'm quite okay with it.
Jes, no sinuses hey? And did they check your dna to find out if you're human? Maybe you're actually a descendant from that Martian invasion that occured in the Mojave (sp?) desert in the fifties? It would explain a lot. Without meaning to poke more fun at you, does this lack of sinuses cause you breathing problems, or cause you to snore at night?
Ruth, so nice to see you back! I wish you're absence had been for better reasons than a migraine! They were going around something awful last week. Are you all drinking from the same water system? Glad to hear you're feeling better again!
Marie, welcome to the daily check in! I look forward to hearing about your workouts, and anything else you care to chat about. I've got a 4 1/2 year old daughter who is a Cathe fan, too. They're adorable at this age! The Gauntlet is a tough one! You are obviously not new to working out, if you can get through that!
Wendybdh, have fun at your dr's appointment! Mine's not for another 3 weeks. Ho hummmmm. Good work on IMAX2!
Katie, HIGH FIVE!!! How wonderful to get back into your workouts!!! And I hate planks too. Blech!
Lisa, Sandy, and Jes, strawberries, YUM! Chocolate-dipped, even MORE YUM! Thank you! And now you've put a naughty thought in my head, Jes. Banana with pb....and hot fudge sauce. Add some chocolate ice cream, and that's the perfect mid-morning pick-me-up, don't you think???
Laurie Mac, thank you! Oranges are going on my shopping list today.
Carole, yup I really enjoy watermelon too, but as you said, it's such a seasonal fruit. I'm sure I'll indulge like crazy this summer.
Josie, I love mangos, too (don't think I've ever had Guavas?), but I don't know how to buy them. I've attempted to purchase them in the past, but found they tasted really weird. I wonder if we just live in the wrong climate for fresh mango.
Wendymin, so how did you like CK? It had to grow on me a bit, but I like it now. I love the drills at the end. It's pretty much just an extended version of CTX Kickbox, don't you think?
Marla G, great work on those terminators!!!!!!!!! You go girl!!!
Mari, hello! Welcome back to the daily check in!
Dutchie, feel better soon!
You know what's been driving me crazy for 4 weeks now? The smell of bread. Dear god, make it stop!! This isn't the fresh-baked kind of smell, but the smell of Wonder bread, 100% whole wheat. For some reason, this smell is pervasive throughout my house and my ultra-sensitive nose is smelling it constantly. And it is making me greener by the day. Do you think it's fair to ban store-bought bread from the house until the first trimester is over? Think the rest of the family has any right to complain? Bleeeechhh!
Have a great day!
Sandra
