2 Songs On My Mind

This is way off topic, but just thought I'd say that two songs have really been on my mind the past week.

"And in these days, darkness falls early.
People rush home to the ones they love.
You'd better take a fool's advice
And take care of your own.
Cause one day they're here
Next day they're gone..."

In A New York Minute by Don Henley

"And if my time on earth were through
Could she face the world without me
Is the love I gave her(or him)in the past
Gonna be enough to last
If tomorrow never comes?

So tell that someone that you love
Just what you're thinkin' of
If tomorrow never comes."

Garth Brooks

Both of those songs are very nice.Sometimes we take each other for granted when we shouldn't.We think that they are always going to be there, when you wake up in the morning, when you get home, call whenever youlike. But what happens if all of a sudden they are gone?? Or we are gone? It confuses me very much when I think about death and where we actually go, or if we go anywhere.
I can't imagine waking in the morning to an empty bed, or to get my child ready for school and to realize that she is not there. But some people have to face it everyday. And these people are the amazing ones.
Im sure these songs are in your mind b/c of last weeks anniversary.

Lori:

They do say something important to us about loving and appreciating those close to us, as you said so well.

I do believe there is an afterlife, that we continue to exist in some form in another level of existence. A whole lot of people experienced that transformation a year and a week ago. I believe most of them went to a better place. I know of 19 who did not.
