Do the gloves have 2 pounds in each glove or do both gloves combined come to a total of 2 pounds with one pound in each glove?

They have 1 lb in each glove, 2 lbs total.

I agree ~ that is confusing. I would have assumed each glove weighed 2lbs.
I bought Cathe's ankle weights thinking they were adjustable in half pound increments (because I believe that's what she said in the little video describing them), yet I got 2 5-lb ankle weights that do NOT appear to be adjustable. That's not what I think of when someone says these are excellent for micro loading.
Maybe I'm missing something, but I examined these ankle weights and cannot figure out how one could adjust by weight. I wrote to Customer Service ~ hopefully they'll clear things up for me.
