1RM - Side Leaning Lateral Raise/Incline Side Raise on Stability Ball

I am doing my 1RM and can't figure out what the difference of these two exercises are Side Leaning Lateral Raise #687 and Incline Side Raise on Stability Ball #647.

One is arm in front of ball & lifting with rear delt The other is arm even with torso. Cant recall which is which...Can you look on the actual DVD - There are Chapters... ?

I think the 2 exercises are the same. I also think the exercise tht the above poster was talking about is #645 incline rear raise on the stability ball. At least that's what i looks like to me. Maybe SNM can clarify.

I inputted the same info for #647 and #687.

To me the top two look exactly the same. The last one looks like the weight is coming in front of you but it is really hard to tell. I could be wrong.

I posted this same question 2 days ago but never got an answer. I think #647 and #687 are the same thing....basically a side lateral on an incline.

#645 is a rear raise so the arm is to the front rather than the side.

SNM may not have time to answer...Seems it would be easiest to have a workout card handy pop in the DVD and see what each looks like.

I'd do it but I'm past those disc #s ...
 
They are the same - lateral is side, by definition. They probably should have just chosen one name and stuck with it, but they're the same exercise.

I have watched the discs and those 2 are exactly the same as far as I can tell.
 
Not only are they the same exercise, they use the exact same footage in disc 1 and disc 10. I'm starting a list of duplicates and have found several. Just for future 1rep max testing so I don't duplicate my efforts again.

The two exercises are really the same exercise, so you can just test for one and enter the data for both.
 
They are the same. I also found that I had to re-enter the 1RM test results for both labels for Disc 1 and 10's workout cards.
