1408 The Movie

-

Kathryn: Yep, I've seen "Trilogy of Terror".. that doll was totally freaky!!

LauraMax: Not sure if "Grindhouse" is out on DVD yet. Tarantino is great.. loved Kill Bill too. I'm not a big Uma fan, but she was perfect for that role. The best part of his movies, is the dialogue he gives the actors. Its always very engaging!
Stephen King movies are pretty hit or miss with me. The ones you mentioned I think are his best. Misery was my fave!

LauraRipley33: I have not seen "The Exorcism of Emily Rose". The demon/possession stuff isn't my thing.. too "real" for even me, (but it definitely gets it for the "scary" factor.) :<

Take care, Lynn M.

I saw "The Descent" and liked the entire movie until the end. "Vacancy" too. Very good, but the ending was "eh."

Darn, I was looking forward to "1408."

The new "Halloween" is supposed to be good, but I don't like slasher movies.

"The Ring" scared the crap out of me. I was scared looking at reflective surfaces for about 2 months. The Japanese version was even creepier.

I watched The Descent last night after reading this thread....I must say I wasn't scared at all. That creature reminded me of Gary Oldman from Bram Stoker's Dracula.

I agree with the poster above about The Ring. Scared the crap out of me and I couldn't sleep for 2 weeks. I still get a little creeped out when my tv get all staticky even though it's a year later after I watched the movie. That's the only movie that scared me really. 6th Sense was a little creepy.

Any more recommendations for scary/thriller type of a movie? Don't say The Ring 2. Can't go through that again. LOL :)
