*** 12 Week Challenge Jan 31st ***

Gin-YEE HAW!!! You should have worn the Texas outfit you have on in your avatar! LOL And what is “stock show day???”

Roxie-I have to say that the advice Jonahnah gave you sounds very good. I love LIC, and MANY times do just the cardio pre mix.

Andrea-I’m glad you told us you were from Australia. I could tell by the way you ‘word’ things that you were from ‘somewhere’! LOL (and I’m not making fun, just sayin….)

Amelia-if it’s intervals you want, I’d have to suggest iTread set 13 or 19. Both are 30 minute interval workouts. The iTreads are great for ALL levels, as they give you guideline speeds for walkers, joggers and runners. You can even put yourself somewhere in between there too.

Kath-I could just picture that smile plastered on your face! As for local runs/races. GO FOR IT! What have you got to lose? You’ll get a good idea of where you stand against YOURSELF and then the next race, it can be all about BEATING YOU! Oh, and all I drink is water…..plain and natural. Nothing else!

Kelly-sorry, can’t help on the hernia situations. Hope DH is feeling better soon!

Well, work/school was interesting. As I walked to school (it’s about a mile one way), I started passing THRONGS of the high school kids headed toward the Middle School. I stopped and asked a teacher and he told me there was a written bomb threat and that the HS kids were getting evacuated to the ES and the MS. So, I walk into the cafeteria at the ES and see 100 HS kids! LOL We ended up having all the ES kids get their lunches and take them back to their classes. Interesting. Never a dull moment in a school, hugh?

Gayle-Bomb threat? Thanks for the suggestions about itread!

Quickie check in:

The cold I started to get last week has kicked into full force. I went to bed last night at 9:30pm and could hardly crawl out of bed to get the kiddos off to school. I went to prayer group this morning then came home, gave the boys lunch and did Body Fusion. I was going for something light since I'm not feeling well. I was still dripping with sweat and had to lower my step height for the last cardio segment. I think I will take a nap while dd is napping and the boys are watching Backyardigans.

Off to swallow another handful of Dayquil.....

Hi folks. Just can't seem to get my butt out of bed on a daily basis for exercise. I do better when I have cardio on the agenda - I like the weight work, but it just doesn't pump me up to get up in the morning...

Just thought I'd stop in to say hi. My official WW weigh in is tomorrow and the scale is looking good (for the first time in a MONTH!). I'll let ya know.

Next week is a travel week so exercising will be a challenge to say the least. Have running shoes & iTreads & iClimbs...I should be able to get SOMETHING done.

I've gotta scoot - enjoy the rest of the day!
