11/6 - Cathe-ites DAILY challenge

Back from lunch. I cut my usual PB&J in half and saved one half for later, if I need a snack. I supplimented the sandwich with a salad, baby carrots, grape tomatos, and had a big fruit salad (blueberries, raspberries, strawberries and pineapple) for dessert.
 
I love vegetables but lately I haven't felt like eating them. I sometimes go through phases where they don't appeal to me, and I'm going through one right now. I'm covering my bases by making a big pot of veggie laden lentil soup. I'm nursing a cold and soup just sounds so comforting. I'm doing good with fruits -- I really don't need a challenge for that ;)
 
An apple served as a snack after work. I rounded out the day with a salad and peas along with a small piece of venison. Noght all.
 
I'm so glad I made the soup. I never would've gotten my veggies in without it. I have to say that my lentil soup turned out really well and I have plenty left over to last me for the rest of this week. My eating was squeaky clean today;)
 
I never got a chance to check in last night with my final fruit/veggie tally!
