(I am an early AM exerciser, but I accidentally slept in this morning, whoops!)
 
Okay, I'm going to take the plunge. I'll try to bench press 60 lbs. for 10 reps. I'm currently doing 55 and think it might be time for an increase. But I'm chicken. :eek:
 
Shannon - I can do 70 and if I can do it, you sure as heck can!

Mine will be to get myself in gear early enough to run five miles instead of four.
 
Shelley, I'm REALLY impressed. 70??? Now I gotta do it. Talk about a challenge!

And do not, under any circumstances, run five miles if you're still feeling cruddy.
 
Since I'm getting over a cold, my challenge will be just to do a workout! I'm hoping to have the energy to do something cardio this afternoon, but not sure what yet. I'll post later.
 
I didn't workout yesterday so my challenge for today will be to do the workout from the 4DS rotation from YESTERDAY plus the workout on the rotation for TODAY. Gotta make up for slackin'.

I got a little carried away last night with Christmas decorations and downloading Christmas carols onto my Ipod....(I know, total dork).....

My challenge to bench press 60 lbs is still on. But I won't be able to post the results until tomorrow, since I work out in the evening. Good luck to everyone!
 
Well, I didn't get up and run five miles, or any miles. I could barely drag myself outta bed to get to work. So depending on how I feel tonight, I will try to get that five miles in.

Don't feel bad....my low back has flared up so bad that this morning I could barely move. INstead of doing cardio, I laid down on the sofa on a heating pad for over an hour and took some pain medicine. So my challenge will be do to do some gentle low back exercises and stretching this evening.
 
I had to pull this back from the second page, but I wanted to post my results! I did it! I bench pressed 60 lbs for the first time! I had challenged myself to do 10 reps, but guess what? I did 15! I'm pretty excited!
 
Darn...never did anything yesterday. With my back having been flared up yesterday morning real bad and I had a mega-super-duper headache all day, when I FINALLY got home last night at 7pm (after my phsycial therapy), and all I could do is lay down on the sofa to get rid of my headache. Good news is that it is gone and I did a good cardio session this morning.
