Oh phew. Thank god. I had a moment of panic there where I thought you'd gone off the deep end... :p

so far today I have only had a salad. no fruits yet. Will be having an apple with my next snack, then green beans for dinner. The salad and green beans are all I can do with respect to veggies in one day - that is a milestone for me. If I keep doing these challenges, I hope to get better, and more creative at finding veggie recipes I might actually like !

Hi there,
I am new to Cathe, but very familiar to the fitness world. Had a love relationship with weights & cardio a few years back before being diagnosed with Fibro. SO lets just say I took a few years off, and I am now on the band wagon...defying my Dr's feelings about working out HARD. I looked all around the Cathe Forums and Liked how you all have a great rapport with each other for accountability, and was wondering if I could park here for a while? I am a 38 (OH SO SOON to be 39 y/o mother of 3 & wife - mother to him too at times when reminding or looking for lost items....);) I am trying to loose the 20 pounds I gained, and definitely trying to obtain my goal by next year to be "Fit & 40"....too bad it doesn't come in a bottle or over night!!!! :)

I did Cathe's Low impact circuit today with the focus on upper body & Abs. I try to do a three day circuit split alternating with upper/lower being the focus on MWF, and 1hr of cardio the other days, while doing the weights, I also do do (DO-DO HEHEH) 20 mintues of additional cardio on a spin bike for later in the day...

Been doing well on the eating part - trying to keep it a clean diet....Love Tosca Reno's new Eat Clean Book. Sorry this is so long...

Hope you all have a fantastic day!

Leslie

Welcome to the Cathe boards, Leslie! I like your style! I only started with Cathe in the spring, and I came on the forum soon after. I feel like I have lots of "virtual" friends here--it's a great place.

I'll give you a brief intro--I'm Lainie, SAHM of 2 little boys, ages 5 & 2. I've lost 25 lbs on Weight Watchers and I've at least gotten down to pre-baby weight, but I would like to lose another 15 or so.

Hope to see you around the boards.

Lainie - thanks for the welcome wagon! I too am a SAHM, my kids really don't need me (they are 19, 17 & 13)...but i love being here to still be in touch with their daily activities...and events. I live in So Cal.

Planning on doing Cycling & Abs today...and obviously eating oh so clean today. Breakfast will be yogurt & some almonds (gotta make it quick) with a BIG FAT CUP of Coffee!!! }( My weakness....and then having lunch with a girlfriend for her birthday!
