100 push up challenge FRIDAY!!!

Rest day today from the PU's. Did cardio today BM circuits & MIC step & some ab work.

Good Morning....today will be the Upper Body Sculpt Premix from LIC, but I will do week 2 Day 3 in place of the push ups.......kill 2 birds with one stone I guess...lol Have a great day everyone!
 
No push-ups today, but contemplating Butts & Guts.....
According to my physical therapist my pelvis is very unstable, the left is doing all the work and the right just comes along for the ride....so I'm supposed to work on lots of core strengthening and single leg exercises. I think Butts & Guts fits the bill. Now if I could just convince myself that I really want to do it! :eek:

I am finding this week so much harder. May redo this week...still not sure whether to move on & try week 4??? Will see how I feel in a couple days. BUT, I did them and they were all on my toes sooo I am seeing progress!

HOLY MOLY DEBBIE!!!! OUch!! If that's week 3 what on earth is week 6 like? I'm going to attempt week 3 again next week. Funny I feel super strong doing week 2 then my 1st attempt at week 3 made me feel wimpy :confused:. Try, Try, Try again.
 
Being honest here......my dvd gave me fits for almost 10 minutes before I could get it to play...by then my motivation was sorely flagging...so I only did the warm-up and standing portion of B&Gs. I watched the floorwork portion and realized many of the exercises are ones which my PT gave me. I think I'll be using B&Gs a lot in the next several weeks, but breaking it up as I did today. Does anyone know, can you do legwork daily if you break it up into standing vs. floorwork? Or do you still need that rest day between?
I'm hoping by the time our push-up challenge is over, I can complete the entire B&Gs at once! :D

Again, you ladies amaze by the numbers you are putting up!!! You are terrific!

Tami ~ stop *askeering* me about week 3! ;) I'm already terrified just looking at it and you do big girl push-ups, so now I'm really super *skeered*! :confused:

LOL Tammy! I felt wimpy this week too in comparison...I don't want to look and see what is ahead on week 6! That scares me too much! But, I did peek at week 4 and it actually has me doing less P-U's the first day of the week then I did today soo I am going for it! OH BOY!!!

Becky, have you ever heard of Lower Body Soultion? It has you alternating (I THINK) 6 days a week with standing one day & floorwork the next. Let me see if I can find a link...you could always use your Cathe tapes and just alternate standing with floorwork. BRB...
 
I did my end of week 4 test, and did 45 pushups. I was kind of disappointed because I had done 35 for my initial test, and I guess I expected to see more improvement than that. After I did my workout (RS), I tried again, and while I was doing it I felt like I was very strong, but as soon as I hit 40 everything started giving out. I managed to eke out a few more and got 46. So I guess that's really what I can do.

On to week 5!

Debbie- to fill you in on how it went down today........it worked out great! However, I am in the exact same boat you are....I barely got through the first set, and barely made mininum the last set, so I'm also wondering if I should repeat week 2 or take the test and then if Im not thrilled with the results to move onto week 3, go back. Good for you for going to week 4!! Good luck and let me know how that goes. ;)
