Anyone familiar with 10 Minute Trainer by Beach Body? Tony Horton is the guru in these DVD's, and they look good to me.

I have 5 of them! I REALLY love the 10 min abs, they are fast and effective!! 30 sec of each exercise and he moves fast! I did the 10 min cardio which was pretty basic and haven't tried out the other ones yet (since I'm doing P90X). I'll try to preview the rest later and let you know what I think of them! HTH!

Jess - I'm in the 4th week of P90X - where are you? Done Core Synergistics last night - WOW! I loved that workout!:7 I have a long way to go with my core but for the first time I done straight leg push-ups!!!!!:7

I was wondering about these too. They seem they'd be good for a 10-20 minute add on as a separate workout later in the day.

Is the cardio intense enough to make you sweat?

I'm on week 2 of my 4th round. (I've done Classic, Doubles, and a hybrid of the X/X+). I love Core Syn, I didn't like it the first few times but it grew on me! Yeah for straight leg pushups!! So you're on recovery week, enjoy! ;-)

I'll have to do it again, I did it more as an add on to another workout. It comes with this waist band thing that you attach to a doorway or something to make it more intense. I didn't try that part out yet though!

I have this set, and so far have just previewed it. I think it looks very good in general. I like the variety of moves (similar to previous Tony workouts, but there's a new twist on many moves, and some new moves). Just from previewing them all, I think they would be effective for the amount of time you work out: looks like a lot gets done in a short time.

One thing I REALLY like about Tony's latest series' (P90X+ and this one) is the inclusion of a "trainer's track" audio track, with more detailed coaching (if you want it: since it's an option, you can choose to listen to it or not).

Anyone using the 'cardio' belt or even the reisistance bands with this, I HIGHLY recommend getting a different type of door attachment. The one that comes with BB products looks so iffy to me (the thick part of it that you put on the other side of the door before you close it is not really that thick at all, and if you have doors like mine, with only 2 hinges rather than 3, it doesn't offer much of a safety cushion).

I highly recommend the door attachements from www.sissel-online.com . The only problem is, shipping costs more than the attachment (I buy two at a time, but even then, shipping is more), but they are worth it to be safer, IMO.

Oh yeah, I love the new trainer tracks!!! Really great addition to the X+ workouts!

I haven't tried out the cardio belt yet, so thanks for the suggestion!
