HI Everyone,
I hope you don't mind me starting this one but the other one was getting kinda long...and it is a new week.
I had a good weekend. My rotation isn't going very well though.I even thought about doing a rotation that involved the Bowflex but I used it last week and I wasn't sore the next day. When I am not sore the day after, I feel like I have wasted my time.I guess I could of went heavier....oh,I don't know what Im doing:eek: Anyway,I have been just doing whatever I feel like(as usual) and doing a body part when I feel like its been neglected.
I took yesterday off but I made up for it today..you knew I would:) I did back,Chest and Shoulders of CTX.I am going to save the bic and tric for tomorrow.I had planned on doing 1/2 of Imax1 and a few runs but I got involved in the running and I love the music that I have playing on my MP3 player. So I did 2 intervals and a 80 min run.My plan was to get in more ab work but I keep pushing my workouts to the last minute and I never get my ab work in.I may have to do abs before cardio.
Anyway, how is everyone else doing? Dying to hear from ya.

Hi guys!! I'm back for just a little bit. We have been working hard all weekend long... we took one night off for a couple of parties and I ended up with a pretty good hangover. And I didn't even have 3 drinks :( I do not make a good 22-year-old. Anyway, I haven't worked out at all since Thursday... And the packing hasn't been too much of a workout either. My DB has so much junk that I actually blew up at him. I couldn't handle it anymore. His aunt is a ridiculously bad packrack (we will be moving in with her), Ray is just as bad, albeit a lot neater. There is literally no room for my stuff... NONE!!!!!! ARRRGGGGGHHHH. There isn't even enough room in the closet for 1/4 of my clothes... No room for my books. I don't think I'm asking for too much, but apparently nobody has considered my stuff yet.

Ok, enough of that! I got a little down earlier as my DB was giving me a 2-minute leg massage, he looked down at my legs and said "Damn, I really do feel sorry for you girls... you pack on the weight down there in no time!!" ;( That wasn't very encouraging. Then, he started calling me saddlebags. That just made me kick him... got him right in the stomach, and now he won't talk to me :D I did good. I also told him that he now owes me 2 hours of massage for those saddlebags. I told him that when he would pay for liposuction, I'd consider it, until then, he needs to keep his mouth shut.

At least the house in town is ready to be moved into... The guy left just a few hours ago. We are going to finish everything up to tonight, come back into town tomorrow and clean and then start bringing in the billions of boxes.

Talk to you later :D

Hello! I took ysterday off as well, to clean and clean I did. Today, I did PLB followed by Step Blast.

Sara, have you considered those freestanding bars to hang things on? They have them at Target. They are sort of like the ones they use to display clothes at the clothing stores. There are a number of spacesaver and storage units you might try.
Bobbi "Chick's rule!" http://www.handykult.de/plaudersmilies.de/chicken.gif

Hi Gals,
Oh Sara,he deserves it! Did you makeup after;) Men,sometimes they think they think they are doing us good by being honest, but they can be so dumb:)
Bobbi, I think cleaning can be a great workout as well.I know that I can sweat buckets when I get on my hands and knees to clean my floors.
I just finished working out 11:00 tonight:eek: We were invited to a friends for dinner and she had a big dinner cooked. Then around 7 we had a piece of cake.By the time I got my little girl ready for bed it was 9:30.I did another 80 min run, tric, bic and abs.I was going for a 90 min run but I had to use the bathroom.Sometimes running in the night can give me a bad belly.I guess it is caused by all the food I have eaten all day.I don't get like it earlier in the day.Anyway,by the time I finished using the bathroom I just wanted to hop in the shower.
Anyway,I should hit the sack and get a good nights sleep.I didn't sleep very well last night.Alot of tossing and turning;(
Chat to you soon,
Lori:)

Where are you ladies...this check-in is never gonna last unless we check-in...what happened to the motivation we gave each other before chrsitmas??????:7 Just joking,I know we are all busy and we can't be checking the computer every 10min.But I'd like to be.:)
I got another workout in today.I did a 90 min run,and 5 segments of bootcamp minus the cardio, and a ab dvd.60min of that run was for me and the other 30 was for bobbi.;)
I have been wearing pants this week that I couldn't fit into before santa came.I weighed today and I have another 2-3 lbs gone.I can't remember how much I weighed the last time I weighed.I know around about though. The girls are noticing at work.I was getting some serious love handles that are now gone and one of the girls noticed.I hated those...as long as they are gone,I don't care about anything else:) I'm short waisted so it didn't help the situation. My jeans are fitting better in the thigh area.I have been eating lots, just the right food.I don't let myself go to hungry between meals b/c I will then come home and clean out my cupboards( but I am the garbage bucket;( )I can also contribute it to doing more cardio.
Anyway, thats enough about me..whats everyone else doing? What going on? Where are you?????
Lori:)

Hi, Lori! Man, you are a machine! Way to go! I did PUB and then KPC today. I love KPC! It is so fun and makes me feel tough! LOL! Thanks for the 30 minutes! I needed it! I am short-waisted too and I love low rise jeans which elongates my middle. It sounds like you are coming right along! I am happy with my results and happy too, that tomorrow is yoga and abs. I need a less intense day! I got no sleep last night but I have been wired all day and I am getting on my own nerves! It's almost 2:00 and I won't take a nap. won't take a nap, won't take a nap! Boy, could I use a nap! I am having a Shiatsu massage tonight so that'll be nice. Get my Chi in order!

Have a lovely rest of the day!
Bobbi "Chick's rule!" http://www.handykult.de/plaudersmilies.de/chicken.gif

I have no trouble taking a nap.I absolutely LOVE my naps. And its much easier to nap in the winter time b/c I don't go outside very often, but in the summer it feels like you need to be outside.
You had a great workout yesterday as well.I think I am going to do the remaining 3 bootcamp segments,I may even rewind it and do #5 again. And some 20 min runs in there.I just aim for 60min and anything above that is just a bonus.
I like KPC to,but I don't love it.Its not KPC,its kickboxing in general.I never was a kickboxing fan.I think I made myself sick of it b/c when I did morning workouts,I use to do kickboxing b/c I didn't have to jump around that much, now I couldn't be bothered.I have thought about it the last couple of days and it is soon going to be time to do some kicking.
Anyway,I will be back later to tell you what torture I put myself through today:)
Lori:)

Hi guys!!

Well, I'm back!! Finally. The move is not totally done, but I told my DB that I quit :) We finally got a bulk of the stuff into town, thanks to the help of one of his friends. I have not been feeling very well the last few days, and I've lost so much strength that I couldn't help move anything. I just packed and told everybody what to do :) And Bobbi, thank you for the idea. I hadn't thought of something like that. Once we get the apartment cleaned out, we need to be VERY creative about space. I wish that I could get the idea across about how much stuff she has... it is so bad that we spent an entire night just clearing a trail to walk through. We found evidence that my DB's aunt has been staying in hotels and resorts because she can't live in her own home. And yet her "stuff" is so important to her, that she'd rather do that than get rid of one single thing. I've gotten myself in good, haven't I? Ray has inherited the packrat gene and impulsive buying gene, BUT he is very neat, at least. So it balances just a little.

Well, I have gained quite a bit of weight and lost tons of my strenth in the last few weeks. It is the culmination of all of January, but this last week has been terrible. My DB had nothing but junk food until yesterday when I made him come into town and buy me some fruits and veggies. I am back and ready to work out just in time for my sister to move in :D I think I am going to sit them down and talk to them before they even move in. They have a bedroom that I spent an entire week cleaning out and packing up... they can use that for their mess as far as I'm concerned. Tomorrow I'm going to clean the new house in town... I will be alone and be able to get it done fast :) It's funny how men can slow everything down without even trying. Then on Saturday, I'll be ready to start working out again, I hope :) For now, I'm going to play catch-up with my babies and my computer. My little chihuahua is sick today, so I'm kind of worries.

Well, keep up the fantastic work, ladies. I am jealous and I need you to make me work :) I'll check in with you later!

Sara

Hi Gals,
Sara-your sister hasn't moved in yet? Oh no,you still have to get use to that.Hopefully she won't be to hard to get along with.Have you decided what workout you are going to do on Saturday yet? Are you going to ease back into it...or jump right in? I always jump right in,after I take some time off.
I haven't worked out yet today b/c its only early and I am working until 5.I am going to work out after dinner or before(depends on how hungry I am )I did PH yesterday and a 80 min run.I was soaking wet! I had to take my shorts off to do my ab work, I could of rung them out like they were in the washing machine. They were actually getting heavy.I was laying on the floor doing my ab work..with a pair of thongs on,and praying to God that no one was gonna come into the house and come down where I was.But all was well.:) My legs are sore from PH today.Ph always does the trick.
I am finding lately that I am not as hungry as I normally am.I guess my body is getting use to eating less without me even trying.I ate dinner yesterday at 5 ,I got home from work at 9.Normally I would of ate EVERYTHING in site, but instead,I wasn't even hungry:eek: Weird. But I did have some popcorn and a diet pepsi:9 And to tell you the truth,I didn't even what it but I felt like I hadn't had enough to eat yesterday(calorie wise)
Anyway,I better get to work.I am not sure what workout I am doing today.I think it will be just cardio b/c I did weights yesterday.
Hope everyone as a good day,
Lori:)

hey guys :)

No, my sister isn't here yet... in the next week she'll be here. We've already filled up the garage with my DB's stuff, so I'm not sure where they'll fit theirs :)

I just dropped by to say hello. My little Bimba is very sick and I've been up with her since 5... I didn't go to bed until past 2 :( So I'm a little more emotional than I should be. She's just so tiny that I can't stop worrying. We took her to the vet, and if she's not better by tomorrow, we're taking her in for X-rays in case it's some kind of obstruction. So no workout for today, but I hadn't really planned it anyway... If everything is alright for tomorrow, I'm going to just do a long cardio... maybe Step Works or something. AT least my eating has been good today, so hopefully that will make me feel better. And no caffeine.. I have become a feind with that stuff lately, and it's not cool. Anxious and panicky all of the time... I swear I'm too young to have all of these problems.

Ok, enough rambling :) I will talk to you guys soon when I'm not so preoccupied.

Have a great day!

Sara

Sara, I'm sorry Bimba is sick! I hope and pray she's alright!
Appreciate that you are young becasue you'll snap right back in no time.

Lori, you are such a nut! Glad you didn't get caught with your pants off!

I skipped my yoga/ab workout yesterday. I was really tired. I got my doc to prescribe something for insomnia and slept a little better last night. I dropped my fifteen year old off at a shindig downtown with the agreement that her boyfriend's mother would do the pick up but guess who's heading out at 11:00 to get them? Last week I had to head out to the movie theater because his mom bailed. And tomorow night is Winter Formal so I get to do it again. I swear to God I am little more than a chaueffer/maid around here!

I did Pyramid Lower Body, weight work only and I started with 40 and went up in 5 pound increments then back down, keeping it the same for all the exercises. Then I did Imax but only 8 intervals because my DVD is messed up and froze on #3 and #10. I was none to pleased and am hoping a repair kit will fix the problem becauseI don't want to replace the DVD and I have MIC on my agenda very soon. Hopefully, it's ok. Rhythmic Step, I may never do again since it turns me into an instant clutz. Or more of a clutz instantly!

Sara, I know you'll be back in the game before you know it! It comes back very quickly too!

Lori, keep it up! You are a powerhouse of energy. Send me some, will you? :)

Bobbi "Chick's rule!" http://www.handykult.de/plaudersmilies.de/chicken.gif

Hi Everyone,
Uh...that was a good nights sleep. The last two weekends we have been at the cabin and I don't sleep well when I am there. And Ilove my bed at home.So.........I got to sleep in today. Now,mind you,my sleeping in is 9 o'clock:)
I had a good day yesterday but I didn't workout. We went out for dinner and I planned on working out around 8:30-9.A girl I work with called me and invited us to go on ski-doo with her and her hubby.I was thinking that were werne't gonna be gone to long but we didn't get home until 11:30.I didn't mind though b/c I needed a day off after all of those intense cardios.
Today I plan on doing a run and Imax2.I don't know how long the run will be.It will depend on my energy.
Bobbi-I think I will be carting my little girl around in no time. They grow up so fast and she is gonna be one of those people who as to be where everyone else is.
Sara-I hope your puppy is feeling better. They are like babies when they get sick. They can't tell you wants wrong. He may be just mad at you b/c you have been gone all week.Animals do strange things.
Well,I hope everyone has a good workout today.I know I plan on it.I have alittle something up my sleeve that I am going to be working on...totally vain...but totally worth it:)
Take care,
Lori:)

Hey guys :)

I haven't worked out yet, but I think I'm in the mood today. I had to get up every couple of hours and make my puppy drink something. She just refuses to drink and I have to syringe it into her mouth. She's been eating turkey and ham, though so that's good, even if it's not the most nutritious thing. I slept in until 11 and spent the last couple of hours paying bills. I've realized it's very hard to pay for insurance, prescriptions, and groceries when you have no money :(

But today I am going to start an art project. I don't know or care what it is, but I've made absolutely no use of the last few weeks, and I feel really bad about that.

I think today I will do a long cardio and then tomorrow start on the Pure Strength Series. Those gave me such great results that I should start out with those to give me some encouragement. I think this week I'll do older stuff... Step Works (never done before), Cardio Kicks, Circuit Max, and the Pure Strength Series. Well, probably not all of those, but some, at least. My eating yesterday was so good until last night :( I didn't eat anything bad, but I was so unhappy that I binged all night long. And then my DB brought me a gigantic peach smoothie to make me feel better. I have NEVER been able to finish a whole one, but I finished the whole thing in less than 30 minutes this time. Oh well... Today has been good, and I'm ready to workout...

Great news, by puppy just now ate about 10 pieces of her food and 4 capfuls of water without a syringe. I am much more relaxed now. She is just so tiny that she can't afford to lose weight. When you're only 3 lbs, you just can't lose much. And these little guys eat so much all of the time... Anyway, very happy :)

Ok, well, i'll check in with you guys later when I actually work out. I hope I do :) Wish me luck.

Oh, Lori, I have a question... When you run, do you do interval type runs, programs, or just run where you're comfortable. One of my favorite things about treadmills and elliptical trainers is the pre-programed exercises that really make you push yourself to the limit. I gained so much endurance when I used those at the gym, it's not even funny. I hadn't run outdoors in months, but was able to go out and run 12 miles in the hills with a friend of mine no problem while I was doing that sort of program.

Alright, I'll stop talking now :)

Have a great day!!

Sara

I have done nothing today and probalby won't at this rate. I have to take Ali to get her hair done for the Winter Formal. I slept horrilby last night and feel cranky and unmotivated! And I have to take her to her dance and pick her up at 11:30 and for me that's the middle of the night! I guess I'll do PUB tomorrw since Monday is Sh Legs and that'll be fine. No yoga this week but I am meeting my neice for my fisrts live class Wednesday and maybe that will inspire me!

Step Works is fun. I bought a disc reapir kit but my Rhythmic Step disc is messed up. :( I may end up replacing it but I'll work around it for now!

Lori, what's your pace for the mile? Do you ever race?

Sara, I always found Cathe's high intensity workouts amazing when it came to building endurence for running.
Bobbi "Chick's rule!" http://www.handykult.de/plaudersmilies.de/chicken.gif

Bobbi, my mom used to be so frazzled just by driving us everywhere all of the time. But not just us, but my cousins, too. They called her day and night for favors. When I turned 16, I didn't do any driving except for whatever chores I took over from her. She was thrilled to give me a car and buy herself a new one so that I could take over. And for the next 3 years, I was nothing but a personal driver for my family and friends... I know exactly how you feel :|

Hi Ladies,
I am very bored...just as well to workout again.I ate my dinner at 5(early for me)had a little nap and now it is only 7:30.Its going to be a long night. My daughter as a friend sleeping over so I am pretty confined and my hubby is going on ski-doo.If I pout he may come back early.:)
No I have never raced but I am thinking of joining a marathon.I can normally run 10kms in 50-55 min.Its been a while since I have timed myself b/c I wasn't training for anything, just exercising. On my machine I feel comfortable at 6.0.Whatever that means!I haven't really scoped out my treadmill yet, when I am close enough to it I am usually on it.The last 15 mins of my run I am uaually at 5.5.I am getting tired at that point.
If I have only a little time to exercise I will do interval training on it.If I only have 30min,I will go from 5.0 - 8.0,back and forth.I think incorporating Cathes interval workouts and my treadmill is giving me great endurance.
Sara-I am so happy that your puppy is feeling better. My boss owns a dog that is only 3 lbs and he is always sick and he doesn't look the best now.He can't lift his head or even walk straight but for some reason she thinks that he is perfect. He is alot better now then what he was but he doesn't look like he is enjoying life to much.No matter how much we love them,I think that it is important to do whats best for them at times.I think you guys no what I am saying.I am not talking about your dog sara, but my bosses,he looks VERY uncomfortable.
Bobbi-My parents would never cart me around. But lucky enough I had a friend whose parents would. Her father picked us up all the time and dropt us off.My parents thought that if it wasn't in walking distance that I didn't need to go.They were strict growing up.Very religous so it was best that they didn't know where I was going(dances and drinking)
I don't think my daughter will have the same experiences that I had.I think we will pretty much take her wherever she wants to go.We are still young and we can remember what it was like to be her age.We are hoping that she is going to be very open and honest with us while she is growing up.
My new Plan(up my sleeve) is I am going to try to keep going in the same direction that I have been going.I have a couple of friends that I haven't seen in a couple of weeks and we are all going out for dinner on Valentines Day night. If I can keep going the way I am going, I should either a)look the same,b) maybe lose a little more:) These were the girls I wrote about one time, asking for everyones opinion. They are very vain. So, I want to give them something to talk about, and I know they will. I have a pair of pants in my closet and a nice dress shirt that shows my new(and improved) waist line.I tried it on the other night. The last time I tried it on was NewYears Eve and I didn't feel comfortable enough to wear it then....but I do now.I don't know if it is stupid or not but they are the kind of friends that you want to stick your tongue out at and walk away..saying na,na,nanana.
Anyway, guess who is bored...show of hands....now I am the one who is babbling.
Chat to you soon,
Lori:)

Hey Lori, I can't believe your energy. I need some of it, please!! I haven't worked out yet. I got very hungry and had a salad and a yogurt. I have to wait for that to digest... Today has been another lazy day, looking after my dog and talking online. My friend (he lives in Tuscon) and I chat online 24/7... He was in Italy for 3 weeks and then I've been unavailable for the last week... so we're catching up today :)

Yes, she's doing better. It's amazing how small 3 lbs really is, isn't it? When I first got her, she was less than 1 lb and it was scary. Luckily, she is spunky and happy and healthy. I now am thinking that it came from my aunt's dogs that were here all last weekend. They may have carried something in, because my little Yorkie has been a bit sick, too. Just not as extreme as Bimba. Love my little doggies... wouldn't give them up for anything, but it is so hard to let go. About 2 years ago, we brought my 10-year-old cat to the vet because she was throwing up and very lethargic. Well, he took tests and told us that she would be dead in a week or less... some intestinal disease... He tested my older one as well and said the same, even though he showed no symptoms... he insisted that we put them down in a few days to avoid any misery. We were devastated... Beyond devasted. Well, my younger cat improved in a day, and my other never got sick. Even when we came back a month later and told him they were fine, he insisted that they would be showing symptoms soon and be dead within the month. Needless to say, we never went back to this quack. My new vet immediatly told me that there are many illnesses that trigger the same antibody response as the one disease, whatever it was, a "flu" that lasts for only a couple of days is one of them. I'm so glad we didn't listen to that doctor. We need to take very special care of my little dog, though, because she is so tiny and susceptible.

Wow, today is babble day, isn't it? I love it, actually. I am going to workout in about an hour or so, so hopefully I have something to report later :)

Oh, and when I train for a marathon, the IMAX workouts are going to be very high on my list. I bet they are phenomenal for that.

Talk to you guys later :)
