Hello Cheetahs!
Christine - Thanks for the prayers for BIL. How nice of your neighbor to knit a Christmas gift for you! Know you enjoy that afghan! The soups sound yummy just thinking about them. Glad your dad made it safely with all of the delays and cancellations I heard about. Have fun with him!
Posh - It's freezing here today. I can't seem to get warm. The Christmas elf name sounds like lots of fun. Glad it went over so well. Did you get finished with the living room? Thanks for your thoughts for my BIL. I wish you could get your Charles Bronson on the j-o-b too.
Judy - Congrats to your DS on winning his game! Thanks for the card. You have a beautiful family! Loved the background too. Thought about using my Bosu last week and passed. I need to pull it out again soon. The benefit hockey game sounds like fun too. Hope the Ice Cats won. Don't blame you for passing on running in the wind.
Laura - Hope you've found a way to get that Garmin to Africa. I can do yoga as long as it's not more than 30 minutes. I use it mostly for stretching purposes. So, I try and stay away from too much power yoga. P90X yoga was just too long. I break it up into 30 minute segments whenever I do it. Good job with the run today!
Linda - Hope you had fun at the parties. At least you were able to get some workouts in there somewhere. Glad you enjoyed Power Strike. How sweet about the glow over DD. That is unusual. Glad she had mom to massage her tired feet.
Carole - Glad you enjoyed the 20 mile run! Good job! Hope you don't lose your mind.
I don't like egg nog. It's probably because my dad use to spike it and I didn't like the taste.
Enjoy MM and your 6 miler. It will feel easy after yesterday. I hope so anyway.
Brighton - Prayers for your friends today.
Cathy - Glad you had a relaxing weekend! Can't beat those with a stick.
A gingerbread cookie martini, huh? Guess it doesn't matter if you eat them or drink them. I can't seem to warm up with just walking outside. But, that's because I'm usually walking with DBF and he doesn't move fast enough for me. Hey, you should be on break already! Tell them I said so.
Wendi - Glad you're feeling better. What a terrible way to lose weight. BIL said he had visitors all day yesterday. That helped his spirit. Yeah, a lot of people are worse off than you but still take care of yourself. Make sure you bundle up. That's an order young lady. Can you see my finger pointing at you?
Dallas - Sorry you won't be able to visit your IL for Christmas. I know how you feel. I will miss seeing my sis and her family too. Hope everyone feels better soon. Pamper those hands. I hate the dry rough feeling. I'll check my email when I get home. Oh, my on the sleep walking. You have so much on your mind too..
Wendy - I only shared my cold weather. It was 12 degrees this morning. I just wanted to share the love. You know how it is. Enjoy B&G. Hopefully you can get that run in. Are you running on Christmas morning? Is Joey feeling better? Glad you found the perfect gift for DH!
Gloria - I have a Scunci steamer. You can use it for clothes or household chores. I almost went for a Rowenta steamer. DBF had one of these and I already knew it worked. Ended up buying it. Also, had a $25 Amazon gift certificate. So, far I've used it to steam some blouses and curtains. At first, it spurted water until I got the hang of things.
Sunny - Hi! Good to see you post! Merry Christmas to you and your family!
Today's workout was P90M UML and half of Sweat 5-6. It wasn't an intense workout but it worked for today. For some of the push ups I did chest and back work.
I finally talked to BIL last night. They were giving him solid food. If he did ok with that, he may get to go home today or tomorrow. He's not really looking forward to going home. Right now he can only walk using a walker. But, at least he's up and moving some.
Hope you're having a wonderful Monday!
