    exercising during menstruation?

    Hi, I always exercise during menustration and have had no problems or difficulties regardless of the type of exercise including cardio kickbox, yoga, pilates, strength or any kind of cardio. I have found it actually helps me with my symptoms. Sheila

    Labral tear of the hip

    Okay well I do not agree with the eliptical and my reason is that the Precor actually irritated the hip area for me and it went away after I stopped using the machine.

    nausea during workouts

    I also get nausea during summer workouts. I have reduced it by eating about 2 hours before the class, drinking water, and reducing my intensity when I find nausea building up. I do not have the same situation in cooler weather, just on hot and humid days. I have also noticed it during cycling...

    I have been following the "Eat to Live" book by Joel Fuhrman, MD and so far I have lost quite a bit of weight and reduced my cholestrol (which was my main objective). I find that I now eat little meals throughout the day almost like snacking and it is working well (not alot of prep work....)...

    saddlebags

    Well I am not Cathe but I have been seeing some changes in my lower body, saddlebags. I think my diet has alot to do with it and I follow Eat to Live by Joel Fuhrman. I do sculpting with weights at least twice per week and work on my outer and inner thighs with ball squeezes and leg lifts...

    Frustrated shoe shopping

    I like to use Merrell cross trainers - wider foot. Another idea for the falling asleep - lace your sneakers differently and looser around the area of the foot that is falling asleep!
