My order of the new workouts, from the most liked to the least

I love Athletic Step and Step Moves. I sold all the others. This was definitely my last pre-order.

    Which are Most Knee Friendly?

This set has been pretty useless to me so far. I'm like weener. I can't do any kind of jumping or stepping with impact. Pivots and twists mean knee pain too so a lot of the step and MMA has to be modified. I've had to modify more than I'm doing any actual moves. That takes all the fun out...

    HiiT - 40/20 video clip

There is no way my joints can take that impact. I hope that modified high intensity moves are at least suggested before the impact starts.

So ... SNM ... modifier or no modifier?

I think they have answered in the only way they intend to: If we need low impact, there are other workouts that provide that. But there won't be an option to modify to low-impact in Cardio Shock. The indirect response takes some reading between the lines, but the answer is there. I would...

So ... SNM ... modifier or no modifier?

So ... no modifier for the other workouts then? Thanks for your answer.

So ... SNM ... modifier or no modifier?

Well, at the risk of repeating myself ... Fact is, a workout that I can't use because I fear injury is a useless workout. Like others, I can no longer do high impact. Not by choice but by circumstance. I've worked out with Cathe a long time. One of the reasons I've stuck with her is...

So ... SNM ... modifier or no modifier?

Well truth be told, I didn't say that I was disappointed. But I don't begrudge others who may feel disappointed that there hasn't been an answer yet. (Though we all know that Cathe doesn't have time to sit around and read the boards all day. ;) ) Still, consumers have a right and obligation...

So ... SNM ... modifier or no modifier?

I agree. What a wonderful statement it could make to women about life-long fitness. Cathe and her pals are superhuman but they are aging too. :p For as fit as they are, like the rest of us they will eventually face cantankerous joints, grumpy muscles and the occasional injury...

So ... SNM ... modifier or no modifier?

Exactly. Cathe has included modifiers before with minimal disruption to those who do not need them. That's one of the reasons "it ain't broke." ;) I agree! :)

So ... SNM ... modifier or no modifier?

Good point, Mishel. :) I agree that experienced exercisers can generally figure out how to modify. But, what would be great about a modifier in the workout is that we could be offered expert modification tips by Cathe's team. That means we could modify and know that safety, exertion...

So ... SNM ... modifier or no modifier?

Hi, Long time Cathe admirer, supporter and purchaser here. Over 10 years. I'd like to ask this question without getting a whole flame war going, if no one minds. :) Will there be a modifier in at least some of these workouts? I'm getting a little giddy looking at the pictures from the...

The great debate: modifier or no modifier in the new STS cardio videos

I'm still not seeing the controversy. :) Especially with a solution like this. Why not stick the modifier in the back where she can clearly be seen in version 1? Then in version 2 just "edit her" with camera angles. One time shooting and everybody's happy.

Those against a modifier in high impact workouts, what's the downside?

Thanks for posting Nancy. :) However, it's easy to read that as a specific answer to another thread. Not a general statement that applies to all threads. Especially since there's been no SNM response to this thread or the other exceedingly long one on the same topic. Just another POV...

    Why is it every time

Truthfully, I can't say that "fan" describes my relationship to Cathe or her products. I certainly love them. But I'm a consumer. That may be what makes the difference between those who ask for things and those who trust her to know intuitively what works best for them. :)

    Why is it every time

Well ... what's it to you if it's discussed? Not being snarky here. :) Unless SNM operates differently than any other business in existence, it cares about what consumers think, want, feel and even demand. If you have no particular demands for Cathe, you've just made SNM's job easier. For...

Those against a modifier in high impact workouts, what's the downside?

Bingo. It's good business sense. I've been waiting for SNM to respond to this thread like they have others in this forum. I can't imagine that they're not following this discussion. There are probably a million considerations of which consumers are not aware that SNM has to undertake...

    Cathe, STS Shock Cardio Request

Sorry I misunderstood! :) I was just thinking that it would be better than nothing. Especially since some people seemed bothered by the idea of a modifier in with the group. I'm in general agreement with most here. I don't think modifiers detract from a strong production. Michelle...

    Cathe, STS Shock Cardio Request

That's why I said PIP could be optional (if that were even technically feasible.) :) If you need a modifier, use the PIP. If modifiers distract or horrify you, don't. :p

    Cathe, STS Shock Cardio Request

I don't have a clue. I was just brainstorming. :) It'd be great if it were. Hey! Maybe Cathe could actualize the idea and give me a cut. :p

    Cathe, STS Shock Cardio Request

Idea! I posted this in another thread: This might be a good compromise. :)
