Business casual - building a wardrobe?

I wanted to give a quick "thank you" to all of those that gave me suggestions!! Shopping was a tad depressing as the 10 lbs that I've gained back have pushed me back to "in between sizes". I found some fantastic *goal* outfits at Dillards, ATL and Express. For now, I purchased some less...

Anyone up to de-cluttering with me???

I just want to say a big THANK YOU for this thread! It really got me going yesterday. I kind of did a flylady no-no and didn't stick to the timer but it felt great. I did a 27 fling boogie in my office and then in the dining room. I then proceeded to spend 4 hours yesterday and 3 hours today...

Anyone up to de-cluttering with me???

I love this idea!! I'm am definitely in. I am going to start with my office. I sold on ebay for years to supplement my income and I still have a ton of stuff on my shelves that need to be sold. I am going to go through all of it today and figure out what is actually worth being sold and what...

Business casual - building a wardrobe?

Hi everyone! I've been off the boards for awhile while in the middle of a "life change". I've found a new job that starts next Wednesday and need help in planning a wardrobe. The short of it: I've been able to wear jeans to work for the past 5 years and now will have to wear business casual...

    Pet Nutrition Vent

One more note on the split ear...we've had our fair share from the dogs playing too hard and of course from being clumsy. This is what our vet told us: take a tampon (no joke), hold it at the bottom of the ear and "roll it up". Then use an ace bandage to hold the ear in place. It's not...

    Pet Nutrition Vent

I have mixed feelings on bones. First, I have to say they are excellent for dogs. We give our Great Danes bones on a regular basis - however they are large joint bones. We don't feed anything smaller and usually take away the bones when they get too small. I am terrified of them choking on...

    ### 12 week CHALLENGERS FEB 15th ####

I'm late today! I wanted to wait until I had time to do personals but it's not going to happen as I have 2 hours of work to do in the next 25 minutes! I have iTread Ski on tap for tonight. Tomorrow is a ME followed by a three mile run. And I am GOING TO EAT CLEAN all weekend darn it! LOL...

    tax prep

Personally, I wouldn't go to either. I would head to a smaller firm with a CPA. If things are similiar to how they are around here, the smaller firm's fees would be very close to either JH or H&R and you would get better service and someone with more knowledge. Just my two cents...

    ### The 12 week challengers Feb 14th###

Roxie - I'm sorry if I missed it - but what are your work outslike? Have you switched things up lately? I mean REALLY switched them up? Your body will adapt to what you are doing so you need to change it up. Also, is it possible that the weight you are shooting for is too low? Are...

What are your favorite cardio moves?

What A-Jock said. In fact I did BC (original) this morning and LOVED every minute of it!! I can't get most dancy-step moves so I don't really enjoy them. I dread the words "mambo-cha-cha" in a workout.

    ### The 12 week challengers Feb 14th###

Okay, Ladies. Confession time. I have fallen off the wagon during the past two weeks. HARD. I've been eating too much junk, enjoying my coors light (and wine) and ignoring my workout schedule. This is why I haven't been posting...just too embarrassed! I've always wanted to workout in the...

    opinions on tax rebate

Here's a little different view - I'm a tax accountant. I HATE this idea and hated it the first time they did it after 9/11. Aside from the questionable economic impact it will have...it is costly beyond the actual dollars going out in checks. There will be extra people manning extra 800...

    Which Rykas?

Thanks everyone for the help! I bought the Ryka Enlight II's from walkingsue on eBay. Incredibly fast shipping! I used them for the first time last night during 4DS BC. Definitely more support than my old running shoes! Just need to get some insoles now...darn overpronation!
