What new videos does Cathe have in mind?

I've been away from this site for too long. Can anyone clue me in on any new videos Cathe may produce in the next year or two? Has she mentioned any ideas or any time frame? I heard about a yoga-inspired video. Thanks!

    need advice

Hi Tami - the good news is that once you've master a couple of Cathe's step tapes, the rest are very easy to follow. She calls the moves by the same name and you get used to them quickly. I stumble around on so many other advanced step tapes - can't seem to learn them, but I can always get...

    Fitprime & "Weights First"

Cleda - that was a VERY thorough description of Weights First! Bravo! I also like the tape. I did it the first time with very low weights, and still felt it for three days! I'm hoping the future tapes have more upper body included.

Help me decide! PS or S&H to get back some lost muscle?

LAST EDITED ON Mar-08-02 AT 02:00PM (Est)[p]Hello all! I've been away from Cathe's strength for too long doing some other weight programs and I've lost some muscle and definition. I will need to ease back into a gym-style weight routine, so I am thinking I should probably start with PS series...

    Nutrition ?

Thanks! I enjoyed reading this thread. There are alot of excellent points made. Keta, I like the idea of finding a recipe that includes a food that we like, but aren't sure how to incorporate. That really applies to me. I'm trying to eat more veggies, but I'm not a born cook and I don't...

    Slow and heavy woes.......

I've also experienced this. It seems that when I have been straining and then sit up/stand up quickly I get that way. I workout on an empty stomach and thought maybe it had something to do with that. Do you guys eat before working out?

Foot pain - Cathe what was your experience?

RE: Jul, I can do that too with my left foot.(nfm) My school's athletic trainer looked at it today and said that it definitely is Morton's neuroma. He recommended sticking it in a bucket of ice three times a day, using aspirin, and staying off of it for awhile. This is the wrong time of year...

Foot pain - Cathe what was your experience?

You Guys are so smart! Yep - I think I have Morton's Neuroma. It's kind of strange that I can sometimes sort of "click" my bones in that area and get instant relief. Now I am assuming that what I do is move stuff around in there enough to take the pressure off of the nerve. EEEKS! I'm off...

Foot pain - Cathe what was your experience?

Thank you VERY, VERY MUCH to Cathe and everyone! I am heading to the site right now. The surgery thing sounds incredibly scary. It makes me cringe! I'll let you know if I can self-diagnose!;-)

Foot pain - Cathe what was your experience?

Cathe, I remember reading awhile back that you experienced foot pain. I've tried searching, but I'm coming up empty. I'm having a lot of pain on the ball of my foot in the center under my toes. It sounds very much like plantar faciitis, but in a different location. It is too painful to walk...

Cathe, please explain how abs respond

Hi Cathe, Can you explain what makes muscles grow thicker as opposed to making them tighter but shrinking the body in certain areas? Specifically, abs, waist, and torso. I have been experimenting with different ab moves using Pilates, various ab routines from your various tapes, and standing...

    firming and cathe??????????

Hi! When I started with Cathe's weight tapes, I began with MIS (Maximum Intensity Strength). She provides lots of form tips and I would not consider this a tape that will make you bulky. I think it is just what you are looking for! It is a good introduction to Cathe to get used to her style.

    step board

I called my local health club (I'm not a member) and asked if they had any extra step risers that they would sell. They GAVE me 4 on a "permanent loan" basis! I was thrilled! It may be worth a couple phone calls!

NEWS re: Eating Disorders, legal issues

But they're willing to pay for Viagra - no questions asked! Of course this should be covered! I hope other companies & states follow suit.

    Cathe's waist and abs

Apples tend to be bigger up on top and carry weight in their torso, often with much thinner legs. Pears carry their weight in the hips, butt, and thighs with a leaner upper body. I feel like I'm a combo also. I'm just straight up and down! My upper/lower body is in proportion, but it sure...

    Worth getting CTX series?

YES! These videos have provided such felxibility for me! I've used them in so many different ways. I did them "as is", I've done the strength portions only (in rotations similar to PS series), I've used cardio portions to tack on extra time to cardio, I've used cardio portions to work a...

    Cathe's waist and abs

Hi again Cathe! I previewed your new tapes and immediately thought that you looked more "hourglass" with a more sculpted waist. Possibly because my body tends to be more straight up and down with not much of a definite waist curve. In another post you mentioned that you were possibly an...

    Rotations for new tapes??

    Effects of caffeine on workouts

Thanks Cyndie! I guess I probably should mention that I have been using the "light" coffee, so my two cups really equal one cup. Sometimes I think that anything that may burn more calories HAS to be a good thing. I wonder if I really do burn more. I tend not to think of caffeine as a "real"...
