    Stretched Abdominal Skin...

Thanks for the response I'll do my best with it. Luckily this pregnancy has forced me to eat super healthY (I can't stomach heavily processed foods, or sticky sweet dense things... my only real 'vice' has been ice cream - yum). If I continue to keep that up, and just go back to building back my...

20-year old fitness freak, college student advice?

Heck, Honeybunch -even at my age... Although the fitness phenomenon was growing - strength training for women? No way! Might bulk up! Lets just 'tone' instead. And then those horrible aerobics classes that espoused 'no pain, no gain'. Yeeouch.

    Sleeping Baby?

One thing you can always expect from children is the unexpected - but I can tell you this - she WILL keep up being your darling daughter, and the love and bond you have for each other will get tighter and stronger :-) Leela

    Sleeping Baby?

This is the one tough issue about family bed ... 30 pound toddler occasionally wants to put her head on mom or dad's body (chest, leg) while falling asleep. I'm pregnant, and thus.. not very comfortable. Not comfortable to get kicked by sleeping toddler having bad dream, either :-) But that...

    Cathe I am disappointed that

Love your quick response! This is excellent customer service. Of course -I'm planning on buying the whole bunch! I am so excited! As soon as i'm fit for working out after having my baby, i'm going to start rotations of strength (and cardio) with JUST my cathe tapes! Leela

    Another question about breastfeeding

RE: She's regained her birthweight >supposed to hurt? My >nipples are still tender from >the baby, so maybe that's >why pumping felt so uncomfortable. > What kind of pump? The evenflo minelectric pump is very bad! I've heard it call the nipple shredder. I use the medela pump in style and...

    Plank Work after 16 weeks

RE: Good to know! Ah no! Don't be so impressed! I just did the basic plank pose - no leg lifting, etc - for as long as I could hold it. Core of steel is my plan for the future though! By 40, I want abs you can bounce a quarter off :-)

    Stretched Abdominal Skin...

How did you get it back in shape before? I hope you get responses from experienced moms who have conquered this after multiple kids. I had my first baby at 33, and am pregnant again 2 yrs later. I never got rid of that stretched out look, and I didn't work too hard at it, as I was planning on...

    Another question about breastfeeding

Are you happy with her weight gain? If so - and it were ME, I would pump it. I had supply problems because my daughter spent 2.5 wks in the hospital after her birth and I didn't respond well to the pump. Thus, my night time prolactin levels (which really help to build up that supply) didn't do...

    Sleeping Baby?

LAST EDITED ON Apr-19-01 AT 06:51PM (Est)[p]Firstly - great that she has a long sleep period at night at 11 days! Some babies are reversed and have their long sleep period in the daytime! Don't worry about spoiling her one bit. Babies are meant to be close to their moms - when sleeping, when...

    Weight Loss After Weaning

I bf'd for 6 mos (would have gone longer - but had supply problems from the get-go due to her being in NICU for her first week of life, and then the regular special care nursery for another 2 wks. Pumping doesn't work the same way a baby does when you are trying to est. a milk supply.) I found...

Sue (Shammy902) - I need your advice/wisdom (others feel free to post too!)

RE: Thanks!! (m) Thanks Sue!! >Hey, do you know what you're >having? We go next >Tuesday (on my birthday) to >find out. What a >birthday this is going to >be! > Happy birthday!! I am having a girl! I have another u/s at 22 wks (May 4) because of the fact that they didn't get a good...

Sue (Shammy902) - I need your advice/wisdom (others feel free to post too!)

Thanks!! (m) I appreciate this. I guess really what I was looking for (and you provided) was a response from someone who is intermediate or advanced. A lot of the pregnancy working out advice I see is really geared towards people who are in the beginner/early intermediate phase. Do you still...

Sue (Shammy902) - I need your advice/wisdom (others feel free to post too!)

I am feeling really great these days at 19 wks pregnant. I am really eager to kick myself back into the workout mode - but now that i've been OUT of commission for so long (I was told to NOT exercise my first trimester because of a previous miscarriage, and while I thought that was extreme, my...

    60 minutes of cardio...

RE: Women's sports and fitness... I had an Oxygen subscription. But that is extreme in the other end. I don't mind the body building at all - but I do mind the supplement stuff -esp the shameless hawking of "Hydroxycut". That, and of course, articles on tatooing your makup on your face...
