Forgot how much I like PS

I just recently started doing PS and really like it! I love how I can feel my tricep working when I do those cross-body kickbacks! :7

How long did it take you to complete Step Heat without difficulty?

Thanks for the reply, beachgerrrl! Your post is yet more reassurance that, with practice and use of the rewind button, I should be able to catch onto Step Heat in relatively no time. I plan on doing it tomorrow (Saturday) when I have plenty of time to use the rewind function (I work out in...

How long did it take you to complete Step Heat without difficulty?

Ivory, just wanted to let you know that I tried Step Max this morning. Like you, I found this a bit easier to follow than Step Heat, although by no means was I able to keep up 100%! It probably helped that I did it on a 6-inch step and previewed it the night before. ;-)

How long did it take you to complete Step Heat without difficulty?

Ivory, I thought I was the only one who ever cried because I couldn't do a video - it's reassuring to know I'm not the only one! I recently bought SJP/SB, but am waiting until I'm more familiar with Cathe's earlier step workouts before I even attempt that one! I really do need to become more...

How long did it take you to complete Step Heat without difficulty?

Thanks, Mar and Sandra, for your responses! Sandra, I had been thinking of doing what you suggested, re: going straight to the 2nd segment after the warm up. I do know that I had to lower my step height after the 1st segment because I was so out of breath, so maybe it's my stamina that's...

    Your first step workout?

My first step workout was at the gym; however, I believe that my first step video was Crunch - Fat Blaster: The Next Step. Since starting with Cathe, this video is now a piece of cake.

How long did it take you to complete Step Heat without difficulty?

After becoming frustrated with the choreography on Cathe's newer videos, I decided to start with her earlier ones to build a foundation. I've done Step Heat twice and the second time I was able to follow the first segment pretty well. However, once I get to the second segment, I just can't...

    What is your middle name?

I use my maiden name as my middle name now, but my given middle name is Allison. I've always liked my given middle name and sometimes wish I would have kept it. As far as I know, it has no family significance. Cynthia

You all aren't kidding when you call Leaner Legs MEANER Legs!

RE: You all aren't kidding when you call Leaner Legs ME... Well, I do have DOMS in my quads today, but luckily they aren't incapacitating! :D

You all aren't kidding when you call Leaner Legs MEANER Legs!

YOWZA! I started a CTX rotation this week and today I did Leaner legs, I mean MEANER Legs, today. My legs were quivering so much that I thought an earthquake was about to erupt from them! This has to be one of the toughest leg workouts I've ever done! }(

    Anyone know...

Yes, Cathe's Fit TV workouts are shortened. Also, I don't believe they have yet posted exactly when this month the new workouts will be shipped. By the way, I recently bought the Step, Jump & Pump/Step Blast DVD and previewed it and it looks like a lot of fun! Can't wait to try it!

    St. Louis Area Catheites

Linda, I now live in Fort Pierce (about an hour north of West Palm Beach). How about you? Rhiannon, did you by chance go to SLU for undergrad? I knew a Rhiannon whose last name began with a W from there.

    St. Louis Area Catheites

I'm from the St. Louis area originally, but now live in Florida. I'll be home at the end of September for my sister's bridal shower, but unfortunately will probably be busy all weekend with it! :-( Otherwise, I would love to join in if I were able! :-)

how long did it take you to learn lowmax?

I tried the step only combo from Low Max and quit after becoming lost on the Over Face in Over move. I need to take Mattea's advice and try it in slow motion! I'm determined not to give up on this DVD, as I've heard what a great workout it is! :)

    3 Things - Tues 7/26

    1. I had my wisdom teeth removed yesterday and the pain hasn't been as bad as I'd imagined (so far at least!):7 2. DH brought me home a yummy caramel turtle shake from Steak 'n Shake (I don't usually eat that kind of fattening stuff, but with just having surgery, I justified it!) :9 3...

Any Illinois Cathe fans out there?

Just though I'd throw this in: I'm originally from the Belleville, IL area, but now live in Florida. I received my BA from Saint Louis University and my MA from SIUE. I was just in the area this past week and never dreamt that I'd be saying I couldn't wait to go back to a COOLER Florida! LOL!
