    Question about High Step Challenge

I only have 4 Risers, but I'm still deciding on the topper issue. I may try the workout with what I have. Even though it might be a bit of a hassle, it sounds doable. Then I can get the BM2 dvd that I've been dying for! I can always get the topper later...maybe for Valentine's Day - how...

    Question about High Step Challenge

<<The high step as a high step is used only in leg presses. I don't have one and have been using this workout with my regular step, even the leg presses since my doc told me I shouldn't do them on a high step anyway. But the workout is doable w/o the high step>> I appreciate this information...

    Question about High Step Challenge

Thanks Amy, this information helped. It sounds like I could do the workout with my step (modifying it for higher step ups) but it would probably be a whole lot easier and less frustrating to have the topper. Have fun with your workout! (I did Body Max today):-)

    Question about High Step Challenge

<<Andrea, High Step Challenge uses the high step for much more than leg presses. Cardio: stepping on/off with kicks in each direction, repeaters, etc, then toe taps onto the step, etc.>> Yikes! Do you do all that Cardio on the HIGH step (with all 4 risers in place) or do you lower the step?

    Question about High Step Challenge

What I'm wondering is if I need to purchase the Topper at all (I can make my own "high step" at home). I only need the topper if there will be any kind of cardio moves on the high step...are there? I'd rather not purchase the topper if the high step is only used for leg presses. sorry I...

    Question about High Step Challenge

Is the High Step used primarily for leg presses in High Step Challenge? Here's my dilema...my Christmas list is too long and I'm trying to weed things out. I don't own the official High Step but I've rigged something up at home using my regular step with all four risers and a stool to...

What else is as fun as LIC?

Oh, but what would you have to look forward to if you got them all at once?! Sometimes the anticipation is half the fun!;)

What else is as fun as LIC?

I'm so glad I came back to this thread...I have a different impression of Body Max II after reading this post! This just made my Christmas list along with High Step Challenge (and KPC). I wonder if I'll ever have an empty Cathe.com Wish List?!;)

    IMAX2 or IMAX3?

I just got IMAX 2 this week and tried the full workout this morning. I loved it! I'm a clummsy stepper but I had done the FitTv version about 6 times before buying the dvd so I was familiar with some of the step routines. The step routine is doable and the workout is challenging but...

What else is as fun as LIC?

Did you check out the thread about Step,Jump,Pump? This is another fun workout and the music is great! I've only done the FitTv version but the dvd is on my wish list. It's a circuit workout too! :-)

Lost the weight, but have NO chest!...bra recommendatio...

These sound great too! Sometimes I really do want a little more curvature! Looks like I'll have to find a Walmart or Kmart (we don't have any closeby)...or maybe online? Thanks for the recommendation!

Lost the weight, but have NO chest!...bra recommendatio...

RE: Lost the weight, but have NO chest!...bra recommend... This looks like just the ticket! They don't have cup sizes with this bralete so I feel like I have a chance of a decent fit. It's a little reminiscent of a training bra, but that's okay because I feel like a kid again :-)

Lost the weight, but have NO chest!...bra recommendatio...

So after 11 months of Cathe workouts (5 of those previous months following my own version of weight watchers), I've lost all the wieght I wanted to lose and then some. I feel great but I have NO chest left. Not that I'm complaining...both of my sisters have had breast cancer and I feel like...

    Best Way to buy P90X?

I have questions about this too. I'm thinking of getting this program for my husband for Christmas. How much should I expect to pay for it (including shipping) and what does that include? What type of equipment is absolutely necessary? I know a chin-up bar is required, does anyone have an...

Just havin' fun with the girls on LIC!

This is the thrid time I've done this workout (today just the Cardio premix with abs added on at the end) and I enjoy it more each time I do it! I'm a very clumsy stepper but I'm really picking up the step combos and I've nailed Combo #1 which IMHO is the most fun of all! I was movin' and...

Cathe are you still here? Is abdominal fat?????

Hi Rocky, Portion control is soooo difficult...I totally sympathize. I tell my husband that I don't have an off switch so I just can't eat that browinie or cookie or whatever it is because I just won't stop. One thing that has helped me with this is a food journal. I like things neat and tidy...

    What book are you reading???

I just finished The Kite Runner, which was very good, and I'm loving Water for Elephants (I'm about half way through). If you like historical fiction (like Phillipa Gregory's books) you should defintely try The Birth of Venus...one of my favorite all time books!

Cathe are you still here? Is abdominal fat?????

Yes, I definitely believe it's easier to maintain a lean body by switching over to a clean, low-fat diet. (I know "clean" and "low-fat" don't always go together, but I try to do both.) I've never been this lean before and I seem to be able to maintain this more easily than ever before. I think...

Cathe are you still here? Is abdominal fat?????

I developed a little pooch on my once flat midsection just after I turned 40. It grew and grew until I changed my eating habits and started working out with Cathe. Now I'm 44 and I'm back to that nice flat tummy, which is also super hard and strong thanks to Cathe's many wonderful core...
