    Kick, Punch, & Crunch II

YES! Another vote for KP&C II. I really enjoy giving my knees a "break" from the step and still getting a fabulous workout!

    Limecat's Tuesday Poser

Wow Limecat - I've thought about this all day and can't make up my mind. So I'm going to pick my lovely husband.... he's gone during the week so our weekends are precious. To have a quiet, romantic dinner is a real treat. Keep the questions coming! I started journaling recently and...

Went to 2nd WW meeting And Gained....Help!

DON'T PANIC! I did WW and it took a while for my body to adjust, especially when I started doing Cathe workouts. Some weeks I gained, some I lost and some stayed the same - even while eating the exact same things week to week (same menu for each Monday, etc, boring but it works for me)...

    Coke or water?

I drink plenty of water but I just LOVE my diet coke! I know all the bad stuff and have given it up before, but I always go back. Don't know what it is, but apparently I can't/won't live without it! jasper

What will be your Saturday Workout?

Walk the dogs followed by Legs & Gluts, probably with some abs since I was short on time this morning and skipped that part of PUB. I'm doing 'fitnessfreak's Feb Rotation and loving it! jasper

    Gel nails?

I had gels for *years* and loved them! I had fills about every 3 1/2 - 4 weeks, no colored polish, just a french. Very natural and if I still worked in the big-time professional world, I probably would still have them. Highly recommended

    Eating clean, feeling fatigued

This has been happening to me too, and I'm wondering why. My cals are low but definately in the "safe" zone, drinking plenty of water and taking vitamins. I've been sick (head/chest cold) and maybe that's contributing? Weird...

Limecat's Fun and Frivolous Friday Question

Thanks for a fun question day! Coke or Pepsi? DIET COKE (add lime & tequilla for more fun) Disney or Looney Tunes? DISNEY, although I don't have kids and don't watch too many cartoons these days Cats or Dogs? MY DOG (and other people's cats!) Ballet/Opera or Wrestling/Monster...

    Cathe Calendar Results for January!!!

Congrats Heather! I too LOVE my calendar - I don't want to "mess it up" by not having a sticker (or sparkly star) to indicate my workout for the day. I took measurements mid-Nov and here are my end of Jan results: -15 pounds - Yeah!! -2" bust -3" waist -4" abdomen -3" hips -2"...

Endurance & Muscle defining rotation - February, 2007

Whoa - just did day 1 and didn't realize there was a "bonus" cardio on the LIC timesaver blast. And boy, did it blast me!! Great fun - thanks for the rotation!

Limecat's Friday Eve Question of the Day

Wow - that's a good one and I'm not sure I would change anything. Don't get me wrong, I've done plenty of stupid things that I'm not proud of but I was lucky enough to not have them negatively impact my life or future. And now, a couple of them make for good laughs at the family gatherings...

What do y'all do for a living?

I work in the non-profit world.... I manage volunteers and participate on a couple of community boards. My education is psychology and human resources so it's a nice fit. And leaves plenty of time for golf, travel and taking care of my DH and my 10 year old black lab!

    calcium supplements...anyone experience this?

I take my calcium at bedtime. Someone sometime told me that it would be like drinking warm milk in terms of relaxing, etc. So maybe try that for a while. If not, just make sure your diet is calcium rich or maybe check with your doctor at your next physical.

    Snow , snow go away

I am so happy that we in the PNW are finally having some 50 degree days. We got hammered this fall with storm after storm - wind, rain and floods, ice and snow. I guess I can handle the wind and the rain but I'm just not equipped to handle snow and ice - and I definately can not drive in it...

    Lower body question

Thanks for the ideas! I'll play around with other items in the household and see how they work. I do have a nice big spot for workouts - luckily - since I have tripped a number of times on my step. I'm clearly not as graceful or athletic as Cathe's crew.... maybe someday!

    Lower body question

I don't (yet) have a high step. What do you think about doing L&G or PLB with a sturdy 17" kitchen chair? I'm 6' tall, if that makes a difference. Thanks

    Lurking no more - long

Hi All: I've been lurking for a while and my Feb resolution is to participate, so here's my story.... I discovered Cathe on FITV and love PUB & KPC, which I taped and enjoyed until I accidentally taped over. Then got my credit card out and bought: Basic Step/Body Fusion, LowMax, LIC...

Need List of Pyramids Exercises/Time Duration

The only difference I see is that the abs section is completely deleted in the FITV version.... but I could be wrong, I've only just upgraded my tape of the FITV to the original Cathe DVD.

Has anyone NOT received replacement discs yet?

I haven't received mine yet either, but then again, I've been snowed in for 3 days and haven't seen my mail carrier in 4! Luckily, my freezing/skipping isn't bad and I'm able to work around it. I'm really enjoying LIC - my husband said "that looks hard" when I was doing a blast!

    Step Bench alternative?

Janie - Glad I made your night! But sorry to say, I can't step on the ball no matter how hard I try! But the ball does work for upper weights - at least for me. I don't have a solution for PLB yet.... Happy exercising - jasper
