    what do you think of when swimming laps?

    I just started swimming this summer and I'm proud to say I have reached my goal of 1 mile. But I find it incredibly boring. I usually just count the laps and try to focus. What do most people do when they swim, in terms of distance. I'm new to this and not sure what a good workout would be.

    I use Leslie sansone 1 mile jog, plus the hi/lo section of MIC. This subsituites for my run. It is frustrating when you can't run outside. I don't run nearly as much as I would like. Mary

    I agree. I'm also uncoordinated and can only do the easier step tapes or modify the harder ones. I love the athletic drills and there are so few tapes with that kind of hard intensity.

    I would love that too. Hi/lo is my favorite. I love the 10.10.10 workout on CTX. You might want to try Amy Bento's Cardio Pump hi/Lo or her hi/lo extreme. Great hard workouts with lots of premixes. Of course, noone compares to Cathe. Mary
