I am so happy I could..... I don't know what exactly

I saw a nuerosurgeon for my neck today and he told me to keep exercising as long as I don't lift more than 50 lbs. (yah right!) or run on pavement (which I never do). :7 I demonstrated some plyo jumps and asked him if I could still do that:+ He rolled his eyes and said, "why anyone would even...

Any Wisconsin Cathe fans out there

I'm a Wisconsinite as well and live in Brookfield. I think Meecher and I are neighbors. However, as of August 12th I will become an Arizonian after living in this state all my life. :( (I hope I can change this to a smiley face soon). I am still in denial that I am leaving my home state. I'm...

    advice/info please

I wasn't going to get involved in this discussion, but if you have something similar to what I have, a chiro will most likely make it worse. I have a pinched nerve a slightly bulging disk in my cervical spine. I am going to a neurosuregeon next week for a cortisone injection. My brother started...

    bands in muscle max

Hi Deb! If you get bands, make sure they are the 6 ft. ones. I accidently bought 4 ft. and they are really short. I got mine at a fitness store. That was the only place I could find them in 6 ft. length. I paid $10 for 3 bands.

    Cervical Radiculopathy

Thanks Kit! I did 40 min. of Step today (I know, I know), but this will be it for awhile anyways. I have had no pain, just stiffnes and my arm falls asleep. I am hoping by Fall I will be good as new. I am (and family) will be moving cross country in a month, so life is busy anyways and I'm sure...

Does anyone else skip the calf work?

I also skip calve work. Mine are rather developed from years of stepping. I find it unnecessary for myself. PLB is the only calve exercise I have but I don't do them either. Edited to add: I agree with Nancy, anthing to save some time. I skip a lot of stuff, especially lately.

    Cervical Radiculopathy

After several months of neck/shoulder stiffness and numbness down my arm, physical therapy (which did nothing) my MRI showed I had cerv. radiculopathy. I will see a nuerosurgeon next week, but has anyone had this and will exercising at Cathe level be an option again? I was told no push ups or...

    High Step Training Advanced Question

Ditto to what Micki and Reba stated! HSTA is a better workout imo. HSC doesn't keep my heart rate up and I rarely do this one. I thought I liked the band, but I don't. I have grown to love leg presses and I usually skip a set in HSTA which makes it a little better. I also could care less about...

    Sprints

Our cul de sac has a slight hill and when I'm out with the kids during the summer I would occasionally do sprints up the hill. The other day I played tag with them and I did alot of sprinting.:o It sure gets me in the abs. I am always so sore in my oblique area after sprints.

My dh was just in AZ. Scottsdale, Cave Creek and traveled for a day to Sedona (last week). He said it was fine a week ago anyways. Not sure if anything has changed.
