    Chinnin' Chatterboxes

Hey Catherine, Joanne and the rest of you strong chinners! Our Y event is over and I can breathe a little more freely. With being sick and working on the Y event, I haven't worked out since Thanksgiving! I feel like such a slug.x( I'm going to ease back into things with the workout I always...

    Thankful CHINNERS

Just stopping by to say a quick hello! I've been sick this week, but unable to rest because the Y is having one of its larger fundraisers, The Festival of rhe Trees, this weekend. Lots to do to get ready and no rest for the wicked! I hate getting back into working out after having been sick...

    Thankful CHINNERS

Beautiful picture, Melody! Other than bringing in greenery from outdoors, which I do later in December, our house is mostly decorated. To tell you the truth, I'm not in the holiday spirit yet either. It's been about 60 degrees all weekend and, although I'm glad that the decorating part is out...

    Any anyone do the splits?

How'd I miss this fun thread? I can do a split, left leg leading only and definitely not a straddle split. I had always, my whole life, wanted to be able to do a split, and have had recurring dreams for YEARS that I was comfortably doing one with my crotch on the floor and my hands in the...

    Flushed Away or Happy Feet?

Our family really liked "Flushed Away." (They're 6, 11 and 14 - DH and I liked it too!) My 11-yo saw "Happy Feet" with some friends and didn't like it. I haven't read reviews of either. HTH! Have fun!:)

    Thankful CHINNERS

Happy Thanksgiving to you too, Briee! How exciting to be on TV! I haven't worked out since I did Drill Max on Tuesday. I had done it the previous Sunday and might just do it again today for a total of 3 times this week with no other workouts in between. We're decorating for Christmas...

Chin Ups,.. They do the body good!!

Briee, we actually only have time to help "box" the meals. Another contingent is delivering them. That's why I admire your family so much - you're taking time from your family meal to give to others. We're doing a little bit and then racing to our comfortable family meal.

Chin Ups,.. They do the body good!!

Briee, you and your family are just too good to be true! What a great thing to do with your kids. Our church does a meals-on-wheels type of thing for our community, which is rural and quite economically polarized. Our family is planning to help with that in the morning and then go to DH's...

    Step Works

I love Step Works too. I had gotten the 36-DVD bundle a few years ago, so with all the new workouts, several, including Step Works, had sat on my shelf for a while. I was very pleasantly surprised at the intensity and fresh & interesting choreography, especially considering it's one of Cathe's...

    Is DM harder than BC?

At first I thought BC was harder. After doing DM 3-4 times now, though, I'm kind of thinking DM is harder. The cardio in DM doesn't get your heartrate quite as high as BC, but the cardio segments are longer (and still tough!), so that makes up for it. There are several moves on DM I have to...

Chin Ups,.. They do the body good!!

All this silence makes me think there are some busy chinsters this Thanksgiving week! I didn't get a chance to work out for the past couple of days, but did Drill Max again today to make up for it. I'm beginning to doubt I'll be able to fit in the split strength work I was hoping to do until...

    December Rotation Request

I'm really enjoying these too and love this rotation idea. Maybe you could add some timesaver premix options (to promote the versatility of your workouts;-)).

Chin Ups,.. They do the body good!!

Have a great time, Catherine!!! Hey Melody! Glad to see you're hanging in there. Debbie, that sounds like a great club. Good for her for starting it! I did Drill Max yesterday. I don't know if I was tired or what, but I might have changed my mind about BC being tougher. We're going...

    ? about band

I ordered 4 bands from fwonline because I knew I'd need more down the road and that somehow justified the shipping charge. I've looked all over the place for those bands so the shipping costs were worth it. I also decided to order a stability ball pump.

Chin Ups,.. They do the body good!!

Is tomorrow the big day, Catherine? I guess we need to know what airport are you flying out of and what color your suitcase is before we can stow away. I hope your hotel room's big enough, so your DH doesn't have to find other accomodations. :P Briee, it does make you feel good to know...

Chin Ups,.. They do the body good!!

Debbie, how did the meeting go and what are you VP of? It must've been great seeing your mother after so long. Catherine, I hope you're packing extra chin-up bars (or yoga mats, as the case may be:P)! Briee, you made a mistake on "Good Job!" in that "Job" doesn't need to be capitalized...

    Cathe!! Cardio Fusion WOOHOO!

Woo Hoo is right! I've only done the 41-minute premix, but it was an exceptionally tough cardio workout. Thanks again for this wonderful gift, Cathe.:)

Chin Ups,.. They do the body good!!

Hey Chinnies! Just running through quickly between meetings and kids to report my workout: Imax3 1-6 and PUB Down Only premix. I barely had time to do that, but workouts need to be a priority - work or no!

Chin Ups,.. They do the body good!!

I've been working all day and need to drive kids around, so unless I can squeeze in 40 min somewhere, somehow - no workout pour moi. Bummer, cause I'm really in the mood too.x( Glad to see you're still chinning away, Deb! Get ready for some stow-a-ways, Catherine!

Body types - Which one are you???

I'm a classic ecto - long, skinny limbs, no hips, and any weight gain goes right to my tummy. It's very hard for me to build muscle.
