Pears: How small does my waist have to be!

Dang, I'd kill for a 25 inch waist! Aren't bodies amazing. I am totally built like a ruler and all my extra weight is right around my waist, it is about 28 inch ish. Sigh. Oh well, it just gets you to your workouts, I guess! Jen

    Pessimistic people

I agree with what Marsha just said. I am pretty fit, lifted weights/worked out for many years before having my 3 kids (the last of which was 9lbs 13 oz!). I can't say I look better now, necessarily, but it depends on where you look, ha ha!..... I had a pretty good "two pack" ALMOST 4 pack...

Bread Machine & Whole Wheat HELP!!!

I really have nothing helpful but I just had to post that I got a good laugh out of your picture!!! :-) I don't use bread machines, I have to make gluten free for my son and I just use a kitchen aide mixer and the oven. Good luck with your next attempt. Jen

Went to 2nd WW meeting And Gained....Help!

Very good suggestions. I am confused by your post, if you have been doing WW for 5 months or for 2 weeks. If this is only your 2nd weigh in I don't think you have given it enough time to justify changing anything too drastically. If you have been at WW for a while, and if you eat the...

(WW)does anybody know how many points are in....

I have found this helpful: www.dwlz.com this is a woman's website where she lists WW points for resteraunts. Dottie's Weight Loss Zone. ALSO It is helpful (if you don't already know) to know how WW calculates their points. It is 1 point for every 50 calories THEN you add 1 point for...

    Jessica Simpson Moment! UGH!!

The other day my husband mentioned the name of a congressman who is entering the race for president, I don't remember his name or the party (typical), but when my husband said the name I blurted out, "Is that the famous racehorse they just put down?". LOL! The look on his face was priceless. I...

    someone critique my daily eating/diet!!!!

Cbelle: I ate my flex points, but saved them for the weekend so I could eat a nice big calzone while DH ate his! LOL! It was weird because my weight in was Monday (I did WW Online) and I usually had plenty of flex points to have a really "great" weekend, food wise...and step on the scale...

    someone critique my daily eating/diet!!!!

I did WW for a while, lost the weight,... and believe me you need to load up on fruits and veggies. If you spend your points on things OTHER than those and some healthy protein at each meal/snack....baby, you gonna be HUN-GREE. Apples, oranges, vegetables...a LOT of them. Salads and then...

    Merck Mandating Vaccine

Yeah, it's the mandating part that scares me too. That is waaay too controlling. The attitude seems to be we are too stupid to take care of ourselves, so they have to do it for us. I don't trust the companies that make the vaccines, I don't think they really have a clue how safe they are. I...

Am I the only one who thinks it would be cool if Cathe....

Well..then I am worse because I wish she would re-shoot them with newer outfits/styling. Like, Pure Strength. I like the workout, but not the outfit/hairstyle. How shallow is that? Uh..oh yeah, premixes would be nice too. ;-) Jen

Does anyone have a gluten allergy?

Yes that can be a symptom of a food intolerance. Sometimes people say "allergy" and that means that gives you hives, or whatever, an immediate response. Sometimes you have a food sensitivity/ intolerance which is often wheat (gluten), dairy, or corn, soy, peanuts, eggs are also common. I have a...

Biggest Loser Special on HIgh Schools ...anyone see it?

Yeah, you could probably do worse than a go gurt but I still was amazed at the sugar content for such a tiny package!(Sugar makes me break out so I am always peering at labels). Plus I have a kid very sensitive to milk and the artificial colors, both affect his learning and behavior. So I can't...

Biggest Loser Special on HIgh Schools ...anyone see it?

If anyone rents the DVD "Supersize Me" there is a segment on school lunches. They also profile 2 schools that use alternative-to-the-norm companies that provide delicious looking, healthy, veggie-centric school lunches. edited to say....the following paragraph refers to a different school...
