    Size 12/14 to size 0!

Your comments are 100% false and obviously you have not read the entire thread. I didn't say Cathe was the reason I lost this weight...I lost the weight because I put in a HUGE effort to eat healthy, count calories, and exercise. I give Cathe credit for helping me lose weight towards the end...

    Size 12/14 to size 0!

Hi Rhonda! Yes, I'm still using the hypnosis but only occasionally as reinforcement. It really makes a big difference for me. When I have my "craving" days and haven't done the CD's in a couple weeks I know I need to listen again! I have maintained my weight loss and have even lost a few...

would love to see Imax 4 and Lowmax II

How about an Imax 4 with the intensity of Imax 3, but a dual workout format like Imax2 plus Cardio & Weights. Love the circuit workouts where the cardio keeps flowing!

    What would you do?--Wedding Etiquette

I agree with most who said you need to give them the benefit of the doubt. Don't stress about not getting a thank you as not enough time has passed to assume you won't be getting one. The benefit of the doubt would be that either the store refused to give them store credit (making it awkward...

    Anyone else crave more cardio?

Yes, I crave more cardio, too! I feel exactly the same way you do. I prefer mainly cardio with strength mixed in. I also prefer the strength parts to incorporate some movement to keep the heart rate up. I want the maximum calorie burn for the time I have to workout! :-) True, I'm not a...

Need beginner workout for my Mom. Ideas?

Thanks, everyone, for your great suggestions! I ended up buying a 3 DVD Leslie Sansone set w/resistance band plus the Prevention Get Moving workout. I also found a Denise Austin DVD of mine that she might like. I may end up getting her some more of your other suggestions if I can get her in...

    The new Bento DVDs arrived!

I got ASC2 today and tried it through combo 4. I just went straight through the workout without realizing that she previews the moves on another section of the DVD. Some of the choreography is tricky with all the turns, etc. but I will do much better after I preview it next time! LOL No...

Need beginner workout for my Mom. Ideas?

My mom (60) needs a beginner workout that is simple and quick enough that she can squeeze it in each day. She borrowed some silly "Shapely Secrets in 7" DVD's from her sister, but I think she can find something more effective than that. I think anything Cathe has would be too hard. Does...

    Zappos

I like zappos.com, shoebuy.com, and piperlime.com. You can often get discounts for shoebuy and piperlime (piperlime is a Gap company). I have a free membership to shoebuy and get 10% off I think. I always compare each site once I find a shoe I like.

    carpet help please!

In our exercise room I have a commercial-style flat, tight loop style carpet but it still has too much friction for aerobics, although it wears well. I bought puzzle mat pieces from Target that I found in the sporting goods area and made a 6x8 area. I ended up duct-taping the backside so they...

would love to see Imax 4 and Lowmax II

Yes, Imax 4, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE! :9 I LOVE Imax 3, and Imax 2 is another favorite. I would buy an Imax 4 in a heartbeat! I love the intense challenging cardio and the fun music! I just did HIS from the new 4DS, which was fun, but it didn't push me as much as I'd like. Bring on the...

thinner case for 4 Day Split

I just got the new workout today and noticed the thinner DVD case. I have a DVD wall rack in my exercise room that is completely full, and just yesterday was puzzling over whether I should get a bigger rack or dump some of my rarely used non-Cathe workouts on ebay to make room for the 4day...

    Bosu instead of step.

Thanks for the GREAT advice! I'm actually going to order the High Step Challenge (I bought the high step for the new 4 day split workout), so I will try it on the Bosu, too! I hear you about the ankles...I totally feel that after doing the CIA Double Cardio on the Bosu. I also have the Body...

    Bosu instead of step.

No, I haven't tried any of the step workouts on the Bosu yet. I was afraid it would be too difficult to convert the moves so it would work. Are there any particular Cathe workouts that are well suited to the bosu? I'm intrigued, now! :-)

    Canker sores!!

Lysine does help, but if you still get them ask your dentist or doctor for a presciption liquid that cauterizes the spot. My prescription is called "negatan" and was mixed up by a pharmist that is licensed to do "compounding" (mixing their own medicine, I think). Anyway, it burns like you...

    4 day split equipment?

Do you know if the premixes that mix together cardio and weights utilize any of the heavier weights? I'm guessing I should just wait until I get the DVD and try it out before buying the weights! LOL Would make things easier! But I ordered the high step and was hoping to have all my "gear"...

more cardio DVD's w/o step please

Step is my favorite workout, but I'd love more non-step workouts for travel use. With resistance bands instead of weights, please! :-)

Please continue to consider the advanced level exercise...

I agree...there are already tons of beginner/intermediate workouts out there. I turn to Cathe for the advanced workouts. I don't find the choreography that difficult, though, at all. The intensity can kill ya, though! :o But I don't think they are near as complicated as workouts from...

    Bosu instead of step.

Yes, yes! Bosu, please! There are only a couple out there that are "somewhat" advanced and I'd purchase a Cathe one in a heartbeat. Seems like mostly advanced exercisers buy the bosu and would be likely to buy more challenging DVD's, too. My poor bosu gets dusty although I'd LOVE to use it...

    best high step workout?

Thanks for the insight! If my focus is more on cardio and keeping moving, would the HSC be a better option, then? Of course, if I like it I may end up getting both! :-)
