    Okay.....

I feel your pain, everyone. I used to be a dj, and our music director (the chump who made our playlists) had a very limited taste. I played the same friggin' artist at the top of the hour every hour, the same "new" song every 4 hours, and older-new - songs called recurrents -(like Rock Star is...

    Cramps when doing cardio

Hmmmm. Does it seem to be related to having food in your stomach? I know I have to wait at LEAST an hour (I usually wait longer) after eating before doing high intensity cardio or I get that stitch in my side. Or is that even the kind of cramps that you're talking about? I wish I could...

    BM2 Abs

*sigh* That's what I was afraid of. Not bad form, just not strong enough. x( Thanks for all the encouragement, ladies. I will keep at it. It's just SO annoying that I can do all the moves in all the other Cathe workouts I have. It helps to know now that I'm not the only one that's...

    BM2 Abs

What am I doing wrong?? I can't do ONE SINGLE rocket shoot. Not one. I'm not new to working out. Not even new to Cathe workouts. Granted, my abs have always been my biggest weakness -- but this annoys me beyond words! I have to be doing something wrong. Any advice?

Weight work in Cardio & Weights

I do this one a lot, and find myself sweating more during the heavy weight portions than the cardio. It's easy enough to modify to your comfort zone, just by going lighter on the weights if you want/need to. I say go for it. It's a good all-around workout!:-)

    For those with curly hair

I use Matrix Curl.life contouring milk. It's a cream, not a gel, so it doesn't leave your hair crunchy. I just put it in my towel-dried hair and let it air dry. At least, that's what I do when I'm too lazy to blow-dry and flat iron. :-)

    Music for new videos

    > >(My fantasy--Cathe workouts to hard rock/heavy metal music, >but I know hardly anyone else would go for it, so I won't even >suggest it:7 }( :7 .) > > I would totally go for that!! I think it's a grand idea. :D

    tanning?

I tan in a tanning bed a couple times a week, all year long. It helps keep my skin clear, I just look better with a bit of color, and it relaxes me. Also, I'm anal-retentive to a fault, and my language is not as ladylike as it should be (if ya know what I mean).

    Introduction

I've lurked around here a little bit off and on for a couple of years, and finally joined the ranks last week. As my username suggests, I'm the mother of a 4-year-old high-functioning autistic son. So I'm pretty sporadic in friendships and forums. I've been overweight since I got married, at...

    Today's workout

    >at one point i actually said aloud "is she >serious"!!!! LOL! That was me doing the tricep dips in Body Max 2 the first time. And maybe the second, and third... ;-) I always dread those genie hops. But I just LOVE Imax 2; it's one of my favorites too.
