    COMPUTER GURUS

If he did a full system recovery (sounds like he did), you're out of luck. You might be able to bring it to a service to have those files/programs pulled off of the hard drive, if they're still there. Someone more techinical might be able to tell you if that's the case, and I'd love to know...

    bent over rows

Not Cathe here, But, I asked this question awhile back and got many answers. The most consistent, was to do 1 arm rows instead, where you can support your back with your other hand. I'd say that's the best option if you want to continue doing heavy weight work on that exercise. I've chosen...

    Anybody watching 24 this season?

I thought last night's was a nice improvement on the pace of things. It felt more like the old school 24 that we all love. As for Jack/Renee, I actually love that story line. He taught her all of the loose canon stuff that she's doing. I think he's met his match. However....since we know that...

    Oh Well.....

I would suggest a good, regular visit to the chiropractor. My lower back has been a pain (pun intended!) since my first pregnancy. It's something that's hard to deal with daily, but I know that that pain is there regardless of whether or not I'm working out. I truly feel that working out...

For those of you who have the High Step

I had your same debate for a long time, and finally broke down and got it. I LOVE it. the High Step Challenge is my favorite Cathe video, I do it almost weekly. High Step Training is in the same boat, but I feel that one's hard! Cathe uses the high step in the 4DS series as well, mostly...

    Proactiv for teen acne

I have many friends (adults) who have used and still use Proactiv. It worked very well for them. I use one component of Proactive (the BP gel) every night at bedtime, and I think it's really helped me. That said, it's just a regular wash and maintenance with Benzoyl Peroxide, with the...

Computer help - what would you use?

I was going to suggest Power Point or Project. Depending on which version of Office you have, you may or may not already have it.

    Good circuit workouts? Other instructors?

Hi all! I love a good circuirt workout. I find that they really do the trick for me. I'm looking for some new material, though. I feel a little bored of what I have currently. Here's my current collection of vids with circuit work: LIC 4DS High Step Challenge High Step Training Drill...

How long did your "morning sickness" last?

With my first, I was never sick...how lucky I was!!! With this one, the nausea eased up around 10 weeks (I felt really "puky" weeks 7-10), and the exhaustion disappeared right at 12 weeks. I'm 17 weeks now and feel totally normal again.

    Abercrombie and Fitch Jeans?

A&F jeans are sized for juniors, so they're small. Not sure what you're body is like, but if you're curvy in any way, they tend to not be very forgiving. The quality is OK. I wore them when I was younger, and I found that they would stretch out quickly and not regain their shape. JMO.

    low impact

Low impact is all that I ever do, and I definitley feel that I've reached and am able to maintain my goals very well. It may take some adjustment for you to find the right intensity, but you can definitely find it. Just remember - low impact doesn't have to equal low intensity. Someone else...

    Stalled Weight Loss After Baby

    1. I don't think you're eating enough for the amount of working out that you're doing - particularly weights, in combination with dealing with a newborn. I would get it up to the 1600 that you calculated that you need. Even if all you do is add in a protein shake. 2. Are you breastfeeding? If...

    for a slimmer leg?

I've always found that Cathe's regular weighted leg work works well for me, if I use lighter weight. Ex: if she's using 40#, I use 30#. I carry my weight in my legs and bulk easily there. I LOVE the High Step Challenge, becuase it really helped me lean out my legs. The band with the high step...

    Bare feet

I, too, love working out barefoot and have done it for years. I do wear shoes to do step, but those shoes are flimsy track shoes with no "support" built in at all. Although now, I'm going to try step barefoot after seeing other posters that do it. I stopped wearing those thick "supportive"...

    How long do U w/o?

I keep it right around 45 minutes 4x/week right now because I'm preggo. Once I deliver, I'll move it back up to 5x/week. But I still like to keep my workouts around 45 minutes. That seems to be plenty for me to get in the work that I need for the results that I'm happy with.

For those who like dancy workouts, i.e. Step Moves

I personally, feel like now that I know all of the moves (I've done it a few times), I can focus on putting more effort into the workout. Like, the better I know it, the harder I work. Just my thought. It's dancy, but a good workout once you go "all out" with it.
