    CATHE....PLEASE CONSIDER.....

The CTX Upper Body is on dvd, but it is with the entire CTX series.

high step / firm fanny lifter ?

If I use any equipment from the Firm, it's from the "old Firm". I don't trust GT and their flimsy gadgets. I still use the 14" wooden step box when I do leg presses, either Cathe's or the Firm. I've had it for at least 10 years so right there that tells you how durable it is. I also have had...

    Power Hour DVD

I just did Power Hour yesterday. You won't be disappointed. I hardly do the Body Max workout only because it's just too long and I don't have 1 1/2 hours to devote to working out. I've done it once and I really like the step. I haven't done MIS in a while, however I don't regret buying this dvd.

Cathe - an observation for Cedie

Yes, I was referring to the Hardcore series when I mentioned Cedie looked like she was matching Cathe pound for pound on the weights. In other workouts when she did use lighter weights than Cathe for whatever the reason, I wonder if Cedie really could match Cathe with the weights if she wanted to.

    Core Max Levitation Moves

I was trying your suggestion while sitting at my desk at work, and I surprised myself by actually being able to do it. HOWEVER----I think it might be considered as cheating because I was (naturally) grabbing onto my seat. My hands were wrapped around my seat. I know it would be a lot...

Cathe - an observation for Cedie

I always admired how great Cedie looks, even though she looks bigger than the rest of the crew. I'll bet she's no more than a size 6 or 8 and doesn't have much body fat---she is well-toned. I could never challenge her because she can match Cathe pound for pound with weights, and will run...

"the classics" and "cardio hits" dvd's - let's talk about that now :o)

RE: The dated outfits don't bother me. Remember, these workouts were filmed in the early to mid 90's, and that was probably the style back then, along with big hairstyles. What's important to me is that I still get a good workout with these older classics. Just think of the outfits today...

Is 8" the highest suggested height of the STEP?

RE: Is 8 >Thanks for the reply. that's what I thought. Is there a >reason why she's gone down to 6? I read that Cathe now uses a 6 inch step because of an injury she had years ago. When she was in rehab, she was training on a 6" height at that time and found that she got pretty winded...

CATHE - Are dumbbells instead of barbell OK?

Although I have both a set of dumbbells and a barbell, I read somewhere that dumbbells are actually better than using a barbell in some cases. When you use a barbell, sometimes your dominant side might be working harder by lifting more of the barbell's weight than your weaker side, and the...

hardcore series only available on dvd?

Ok, I can understand this. Now will you release Mega Step Blast on dvd? I know it's an old step video, and hairstyles and outfits have changed since then. However it's one of the few Cathe step tapes that I can actually follow the moves and end up on the same foot and same side of the step as...

High Step Advanced DVD - Glitches?

So we're supposed to accept this freeze as normal? Couldn't the dvd author edit it to where the freeze occurs at a more appropriate spot?

High Step Advanced DVD - Glitches?

    >This is not a glitch on Body Fusion. This is simply what is >called a layer change. All dual layered disc have this. If this is NOT a glitch, then why do all my other dual layered Cathe's play smoothly and the Body Fusion has this freeze right around the end of the warm up section?

Can't do step without hurting myself

I've never tried this myself, so I don't know if it will work or not, but can Cathe's step videos be modified to the floor? Just don't use a step, that's all.

    over 40 and frustrated!!

Boy, I have that same problem and do the same things as you do, HOWEVER.....I'm not 40 (getting there, but not quite yet), and I never had any kids. The one and only time I had flat abs was 2 years ago. It wasn't cut and defined and I didn't have that washboard look, they were just flat. I...

Will you put Mega Step Blast on dvd?

Any plans for this? I know this is an older video, and hairstyles and outfits are outdated. But I still love this workout. I gotta admit it's one of your older step videos I reach for more often than the others because the choreograph is easier to follow.:-)

What DVD's have no step exercises?

I believe Cardio Kicks doesn't use a step, also the CTX Kickbox doesn't use a step. I'm not sure about Boot Camp if it uses a step, I don't remember. However have you considered doing Cathe's routines on the floor, even though she uses a step? Although a step would be helpful, no doubt, I'm...

    Substitute for Leg Press

Well, to be honest, now that I think about it, I don't know how it would work your glutes and hamstrings either. It worked the front of my legs (the quads) but that's all. That's why I thought it was lame. When I completed the workout (it was about 32 minutes long), I asked myself where was...

FitTv Cathe Marathon - May 1st

Please clarify the times.....different time zone Cool. However I want to clarify the time. You say 8 a.m. ET/PT. I am in the PT time zone which is 3 hours behind ET. If it's shown at 8 a.m. ET, that would be 5 a.m. for me. Or if it's REALLY going to be at 8 a.m. PT also, then it's tape...

    Substitute for Leg Press

How about this? This is done in Firm Lower Body Sculpt II workout (with Libby, from the BSS1 series). The cover mentions "a new twist" to the leg press. Sit on the high step and hold a dumbbell in place just above your knee. Then in a sitting position, just lift your leg up and lower it, do...

Has anyone gotten the 36 pack of DVD's?

I did last year. I know what you mean, it's a very big purchase at first, even though the price per title, it doesn't seem so bad. I had to force myself to put away a little money each paycheck in order to pull it off (like a savings account). It was well worth every penny too.:)
