    really...? I read to put on muscle you need more calories, is that just for bodybuilding? Do us regular folks do fine putting on muscle on fat loss and maintenance calories? do our bodies go for our fat stores to atleast repair the muscles?

    This is probably a stupid question... but ... If you need to eat more calories than your body needs to really build muscle mass, what if you are restricting calories to lose weight and doing some serious weight training, would your body use the excess fat stores for energy to build muscle?

    I like her workouts. She mentioned on her radio show just this week, her workouts aren't meant for putting on mass. They are meant for leaning out, that's all, so don't expect to go heavy with them. I think they are nice change for cardio days.

    I like CLX cardio also, I can't wait for the Insanity program to come out since it looks similar x100! For weights, I think Cathe is still "better" for form and general following along and gym style weight training to build muscle. Cathe also covers floor work in most of her leg workouts...

    how many are using tubing for pullups?

    That's what I was planning on doing, using a few tubes to get make it as challenging as I can. Are you seeing good results with the tubing? I know even using multiple heavy bands isn't the same overall body effect pull/chin ups have, but hopefully they do give some results.

    Here's another question about results; how many are just using the tubing to sub for the pull ups and still seeing good results? The chinups and pullups probably have more of a calorie burn since they work more muscles, will not doing them have a big impact on results? TIA.
