Good high impact bra for DD??

Personally I can't stand the enell or frog bras, too squishy. I use Title 9s underwire sports bra (lace, I forget the name) with a champoin sports top over it. Colleen

What's your favorite low impact w/o (Cathe's or anyone elses)?

Low Max is the only low impact workout I've tried that I actually get a workout (and more!) with. Colleen

OT: At wit's end over dog

Marking is more of lifting a leg to put urine on something, like a quick lift of the leg. Peeing is more of a longer duration. Did that help at all? It's hard to describe. When I take my male Dobe for a walk, he'd like nothing better than to mark every bush/tree, etc. on his walk. I make...

OT: At wit's end over dog

The best thing right now...management. Don't give him the chance to pee in the house. Tether him to you or crate him if you cannot watch him. Make sure he goes outside very 30 minutes if he has to. Also are you sure he is "peeing" and not marking? If he is marking there is something called a...

    What vehicle do you drive?

My first car in 1983 was a 1976 Toyota Corolla that my mom bought me for under $1,000. Now I drive a 2004 Chevy Tahoe SUV because it is big enough for 4 dog crates and we have 4 big dogs. Colleen

ok Part 2: Red Meat in general...?

I eat it at least weekly. I choose leaner cuts. Follow BFl so red meat is not "off limits" for me. Colleen

Clean eating and jellies, jams, etc.

I use a light jelly. Less carbs than the fruit spreads. I only use a little when I use it. Or I use fresh fruit and heat it a bit in the microwave. Colleen

    New Dog ~ Jealously Issue...

I think it could resolve with time or it may need extra work :) Pet Smart classes are not ALL bad. There are some good ones, but it's an individual thing. If you go to www.apdt.com (or www.abdt.com) you can find a list of trainers by state. Personally I prefer positive methods. Now are you...

RE: Aaah! My dog went thru Can you fence off a portion of the yard that doesn't have the creek in it for her? So she doesn't have access to the whole yard? Colleen

    Alzheimer's - What a TERRIBLE Disease!

Susan, I'm so sorry. My grandmother had Dementia and accidentally set their house on fire one night, so pelase tell your father to be very careful. My father had some dementia before he passed away and it was hard to deal with. And nothing as full blown as Alzheimer's. Sending prayers...

Aaah! My dog went thru "correction day" with Invisible Fence...

RE: Aaah! My dog went thru >Funny note: One day our power went out during a storm and >when it was restored, my DH wanted to make sure the system was >working so he held onto the collar and walked out to the zone. > I saw him jump and drop the collar so fast it was hilarious! >I guess I...

Aaah! My dog went thru "correction day" with Invisible Fence...

RE: Aaah! My dog went thru I wouldn't use one. They aren't safe for dogs. They leave them vulnerable to so many things. Many go right through the fence to chase things and it doesn't keep anything out. Every year on my dog lists we hear of several deaths from these damn fences. Even when...

How do you keep from going crazy when injured?

Let's see: 2 herniated discs and carpal tunnel since 1984 and now PF for 2 years and an old knee injury that flares up. For years, I would kill myself, overdo it, beat myself up if I didn't work out and end up crying in pain. Finally one day, I found some common sense <VBG> and realized it...

need help from the dog lovers

Is the vet sure she isn't incontinent? That's very common in older dogs. I agree with the crate/xpen/baby gate thoughts. Or a doggy door if it safe to let her outside while you are gone. Colleen

    Cortisone controversy....

I would use it as a last resort. I've had six over the years for various injuries and I'm 40 now and knock on wood no autoimmune issues. None of the shots have worked for me, but it was a last resort anyway.

None :( I can't do anything that puts weight on my hands like that...drats it looks like a great exercise too. Hmm I wonder if it would work if I rested on my elbows? Colleen

Is Interval workouts the most effective in burning Fat?

I've had my best results using intervals or HIIT, HOWEVER, I also changed up my eating plan. I'm following BFL and doing one of Cathe's IMAX tapes or Low Max for cardio 3 times a week. Colleen
