    What would you do?

Laura, It's great that you don't dwell on the problem too much, but don't beat yourself up if you get down about it. It is a real problem, especially since things that show superficially can affect us emotionally. I hope everything works out for you. Keep us updated :)

    What would you do?

That's it, Laura. I'm sorry it didn't work well for you. I once took a medication that made my hair fall out. Like you, I have thick curly hair, and no one noticed when I was losing it because I had plenty. However, it bothered me a lot. I'm wondering when the hair loss "kicks in" relative...

    What would you do?

Laura, My grandpa has had sever psoriasis for at least the last twenty years. He has a ritual we call "shmearing up," which he used to do several times a day with a myriad of prescription and non prescription creams. About two years ago, he started getting some kind of light therapy, and now...

What percentage of diet/nutrition versus exercise?

I agree with the general consensus - 75% - 80% diet and 25% - 20% exercise. I find it to be true for myself, which bugs the heck out of me because the exercise part is so much more enjoyable :)

    dry skin brushing

I tried this once for about a week, but I didn't care for it. My skin can withstand a lot of things, but it felt kind of harsh, even with soft bristles.

Who wants to diagnose me? Migraines?

Hey Bobbi! It's so nice to hear from you. How have you been? I'm sorry about your daughter's migraines but so glad they seem to be staying at bay! I hate to feel like I am popping pills, but this is one case in which I agree that you should go straight for them when you feel it coming on...

    Fruit

Hi randi, As Michele said, some fruits are probably allowed. It's all up to you, though, right? You may want to look up the glycemic index. You can find the index number for lots of foods, including fruits. I just did a quick Yahoo search. Lots of links, here is one...

Who wants to diagnose me? Migraines?

Thanks, Shelley. I talked to my mom about the arm thing, and she thinks it might be a pinched nerve. My doctor kind of stinks, so I wanted to have some idea of what might be up before going there lol! I know...time for a new doc!

Who wants to diagnose me? Migraines?

Last night, I felt terribly nauseous and had a headache. I've had this type of headache before but not for quite some time. The last time I had them, I got them a few times a month for many months, and I thought maybe I had a TMJ disorder, because the pain is on one side. It feels like it is...
