    sports bras

I love Enell and Panache Sports bras - both hold my breasts firmly in place:) I don't want sagginess when I'm older and want to minimize the jiggle as much as possible. I was a 36d and they worked beautifully.

Hello everyone, I thought that I would share the news of my arrival: Edie Rowan. She was delivered on December 4 and I am still finding my bearings as a new (and of course, sleep deprived) mom. :) Thanks for the support during pregnancy - if I hadn't found this forum, I think I would have...

when did you start working out again???

hmm...I was wondering the same - I am one week postpartum...unfortunately, I had a 3rd degree tear and the physical therapist told me I should wait 3 months!??!;( However, I am healing very well and feel no discomfort at all. On top of that, I can do kegels. I just can't imagine going that...

Hi - I won't be much help to answer your question entirely - I can't remember the forumla or desired percentages. However, if you are concerned about maintaining your target heart rate while using the monitor, the watch will set it for you based on the informaiton (age etc) you provide it before...

hi everyone:) it's so good to see how well everyone is doing with their workouts and pregnancies. I've been lying low these past few weeks and am trying to stay relaxed and focused on the good things in life. A rather bizarre incident happened to us 2 weeks ago. Someone (actually they think...

Argh, the stress is getting to me! Help!

I can understand your frustration and agree with Wendy that he is probably perceived as over-qualified. That, and, it can be difficult to find a specific job within a preceise location. I'm just going to throw out some possibilities based on my own experience - and may not be applicable at all...

    Where do I start?

Jessica - you may want to ask this question in the Fit Moms Pregnancy and Postpartum forum of the Board. Postpartum members usually check in on Mondays for encouragement, advice, and disucssion of workouts.:) That said, I think you should start with Basic Step and Body Fusion (2 good workouts...

my 11 yr old got her period....help!!!!

i just forgot to say that i agree with the other posters and wouldn't give an 11 yr old a tampon. i couldn't even wear one properly until i was 18 - pads with an explanation of how often they should be changed and other hygiene issues should suffice. this website answers a lot of questions...

my 11 yr old got her period....help!!!!

I didn't start my period until I was 14, but I wasn't regular at all for a year! My first period was REALLY light and lasted 1/2 a day and after that I only got it maybe 3-4 times the first year. I just think that it takes the body awhile to adapt to the hormones. I would give it 6-9 months...

need something other than step, please help

I really like Kickmax too - but I do find some of it to be a little slow and the bursts to be too intense! So, I feel like my heart rate goes from too low for a good cardio workout to too high! But, I do think it is a very effective workout. I think I also saw that some people on the forum...

    Pilates Workout~

I also really liked Karen Voight's total body pilates workout. She seems to exhibit perfect form and I just feel so good after doing it. She encourages fluid movements - and it really helped tone my thighs as well. The ring is worth getting imo:) I also tried the Stott method and it was a...

Do you get yearly physical exams?

doctors where I live, in England, don't encourage or support annual physicals at all. In fact, I've never heard of anyone getting them here - even as a one time thing. Paps are done every 3 years until age 50 (at which time you get one every 5 yrs) and breast exams/mammograms are only offered...

    Help..teens and exercise?

I think Cathe's beginner dvds might be a little too mature for her? I just mean she would probably want to begin with something light and fun - and then graduate to Cathe later. Have you looked at any of the Crunch workouts? I have never done them, but I do know of a woman who bought some for...
