Cathe,
Thanks for sharing your story. I enjoyed so much reading about your weekend. Love the part -"you can do anything for 3 minutes". Fantastic. I wish I could of been there. Sounds like such a cool event. Congratulations again-you are the best.

I am on book three of the Earth's Children series - The Mammoth Hunters. The first two books - The Clan of the Cave Bear and The Valley of Horses were excellent. I even found the move of the first one from the library. Loved it.
I want to be Ayla :)
Holy Cow! Annette-you were right!
Cathe-thanks for making another great workout and pushing me out of my comfort zone! You are the best. Now, I have to decide which one to do next. Can't wait!

I love the original "The Day the Earth Stood Still" too. I saw it several times while growing up. Haven't seen it in awhile. It would be fun to watch!

Last weekend I walked around Lake Geneva with my sister. It is an amazing path. Beautiful houses/mansions, the path is fantastic and we had so much fun. Just wondering if anyone else has done that path?

My father always told us (and he was a very smart man) - you have to take care of yourself, no one else is going to do it.
Don't feel guilty. Take care of you.

Amelia Bedelia by Peggy Parish. My girls and I enjoyed those books well into their school years.
Code Orange by Caroline Cooney - a young reader book. I loved it.

I'm really interested in learning more about the brain. I'm reading a really good book right now "Making a Good Brain Great" by Daniel Amen. Very interesting.
