    Gliding Discs

Haha! Maybe we should just put Swiffer cloths on our feet. I bought the Waxman oval furniture sliders recommended above by SteppingFool and previously by Kathryn. For $13, you get four sliders...can't beat it!

    Kettlebell circuits

I don't have vinyl kettlebells, either, but I would suggest maybe investing in a lighter kb...25 is pretty heavy for some exercises. And I don't have my own kettlebell circuits to post, but I highly recommend Paul Katami's workouts: Kettlebell Drills and Kettlebell Kombos. Love him!

    Workout music

I seem to recall Collage Video selling CDs with certain BPM ranges. Also, check out www.runhundred.com...it's a blog of popular workout music you can sort by BPM, genre, or decade. If you have an iPod, iPhone, etc., there's an app called Cadence which determines the BPM of your songs and then...

    Fitness and weight loss goals

Congratulations, Kitterfly and Jessica, on your accomplishments! I had some fitness setbacks in the past year, but I am thrilled to have made some progress with my injured wrist post-surgery. It's been slow going building up to this, but I'm just now able to do planks, pushups, renegade rows...

    40th bday ideas

I went skydiving for my cousin's 40th and highly recommend it! Our less adventurous family members joined us as ground crew, taking pictures for us and hanging out. Truly an unforgettable experience. I was on a natural high for a week. IA that hot air ballooning is also great fun...

Anyone with an iMac and Mac OS X Version 10.5.8 Have Workout Blender Working?

I have OS X 10.6.6 and have noticed when working in the blender that my arrows disappear (the ones where you select Cathe's videos). However, if I quit and reopen, my mosh is still there, the arrows are back, and I can continue working on it without having lost anything.

10-7 = 3 Right? Not according to "New Math"

I don’t know how they are teaching math in the elementary schools in my state now, but I remember years ago trying to help my cousin’s son and not having any idea what this “new math” was about. I know many of the students I see (at the middle school level) struggle with basic math facts. A...
