why cant i do fast feet shuffle..

AHH- the wonderful fast feet straddle shuffle- I can't do it in my home gym because I use plyometric mats and the rubber doesn't allow a quick transfer shuffle (I seem to "stick" when doing the straddle shuffle) I can do the regular fast feet shuffle facing the step and staying in place...

    Turning 30

Happy Birthday!!! When I turned 30, I began my own little tradition of embracing the decade and setting a goal for myself. I guess 30 seemed like an age that was "grown up"- my kids were still in pre-school but I was very wrapped up in being Mommy and helping form my kid's work ethic and...

anyone else NOT get their preorder?

I did USPS and got mine on MONDAY!!!! My hubby is a UPS driver- but I switched to USPS because Cathe's DVDs tend to come faster, even though I can't track it as well as UPS. As far as my Cathe DVDs are concerned, the quicker delivered the better!!!

    Insanity. WOW!

The first week of Insanity my sides were burning from the twisted lunges (I am a yoga/ pilates instructor!) but my body acclimated and soon the warmups were just that... a nice segue into a great workout. Welcome to the asylum!!!

    P90X and STS

I own both P90X and STS and have experienced great results with each system. STS is much more individualized and I believe it pushed me harder than P90X. I bought P90X when it first came out and that program took me to a level of fitness and "cut" that I never thought I would reach.... then...

    Ending chemo, resuming workouts ?

Congratulations on graduation from treatment!! In my experience (radiation therapist for 27 years) most of my patients start back with easy cardio. Stamina is an issue for several weeks to months after combination therapies so don't be discouraged if you have to scale back a lot in the...

I have the original club step (teal with purple risers) and a set of gray risers, a set of black risers and the high step topper. I use the Reebok step when I teach at the Y, but my knees and ankles lprefer the club step for its "bounce"
