And, what, praytell, is bringing you to the Upper Sandusky area? :D I live about 30 mins from Upper but not sure what is in that area. Unfortunately, there aren't many running "trails" per se, that I know of. Maybe google that area. Mansfield may have better places. While you are in...

    Does my teen have ADHD?

Thanks so much for all the insightful replies. It is truly appreciated. I called the peds office (where he's been a patient since a newborn) and they are sending me and my husband a survey about our son and then one to go to each of his teachers. After these are accumulated, the...

    Does my teen have ADHD?

Hi everyone, I have a 15 year old son who, of my two boys, has always been the active one. He's always been a bit impulsive, always pushing the envelope and has tested his boundaries since he was 6 months old. No teachers have ever told me that they think he has ADD/ADHD but he's always...

    Old cartoons are new again

OMG, I love Looney Tunes. Grew up on Bugs Bunny, Yosemite Sam and Daffy Duck. I think those old cartoons are far better than any of the newer crap that's on these days. I have several compilations of Looney Tunes DVD's - they are hilarious.

For those of you who recently purchased the Clarisonic...

The battery is very easy to charge - it magnetizes to the base of the Mia (there is no charging station, per se). You charge it for 24 hours initially, and then, from what I hear, it stays charged for a long time. Mine hasn't fizzled for over 1 week yet!

I am having a good day

I'm so happy for you. Having had mysterious and protracted illnesses in the past, I can truly relate. However, mine never lasted near as long as yours. I wish that every day continues to be good days for you. It's so terrible to feel ill and not participating in life. It really does make you...

For those of you who recently purchased the Clarisonic...

Thanks, Namita, and yes, the cleanser she recommends is very gentle and has no particulate matter that is too abrasive. I trust her guidance implicitly. I didn't see that it said to use it twice daily - I think I'll try that. Thanks!

For those of you who recently purchased the Clarisonic...

What are your thoughts? I've had my Mia for about 10 days now and really like it. I use it with the cleaner it came with every am in the shower. After that runs out, I'm going to get an Image gentle exfoliant to use that my esthetician recommends. I have noticed that my skin seems more...

    Skin care in your 40's

LuLu, I also used the Image Balanced Cleanser - I think the only other product I use with Image is their daily moisturizer (has the green label) I love it - it also smells really good. My esthetician gave me some samples of their facial sunscreen, and I really also like that. Expensive...

    Skin care in your 40's

I ordered the garnet - can't wait to try it out. So, my question is this - do you have to use their special cleansers with this or can I use a basic cleanser. I know you are not supposed to use anything with abrasives. I do have an Image facial cleaser that is very mild. Do you think I...

    Breast augmentation

I've toyed with having it done, but I have a rather checkered medical history. Procedures just seem to lead to complications with me - bad karma, I guess:confused: Anyway, I think I'm leaning towards it, and then I get concerned with the breast cancer risk. My mother is a breast cancer...

    What are your Favorite Hikes?

Sentinel Dome hike in Yosemite National Park. It was in June and we had to walk thru snow to get to the top. At the top was a panoramic view of not only Yosemite Valley and all the falls, but Half Dome,El Capitan and all of the Sierras. I felt like I was having an epiphany up there - our...

    Digital nutrition scale online

Hey all, A while back we were sharing our favorite websites and someone stated that they go to woot.com to find daily deals. Well, since then I check it every morning and have gotten some great deals - from headphones to TV's, it's crazy! Anyway, this morning's deal is a digital...

    Radiesse, Juvederm, or Restaylne

Hi!! I had Juvederm applied in my "laugh lines" and a little under the corners of my mouth and am VERY happy with the results. Had it done mid-Nov and it's still holding strong. I had quite a bit of bruising and it's a little painful, but very manageable. Cost was around $500. Now I...

    Athleta question

Just got a new Athleta catalog in the mail - man, I love their stuff. Has anyone ever gotten dresses/clothes from there? Do they run true to size? Some of the bathings suits and dresses are adorable, but not cheap! Thanks!
