Chastity - We wanted something "unique". I started looking at names of places and national parks and came across Acadia National Park. I mentioned the name Acadia to DH and he LOVED it. I later found out it was also the name of a car, so we changed the "c" to a "k" to differentiate it.

Lourdes - My baby passed every test with flying colors too except for that stupid quad test which is known for it's HIGH level of "false positives". Every follow up test and NST they gave me afterwards just solidified that the baby looked great. They still kept trying to make me do more and...

Lourdes - I had to go to weekly NST's. They made me go because my quad screen that I had early on came back with an elevated risk for some chromosomal abnormality. Anyways, I've already said that the next time around, I am NOT doing all these extra tests etc... If they want to do a few NST's...

I wish!!! Nothing yet. Baby is being pretty stubborn. If she doesn't go on her own by this weekend, I am scheduled for an induction on Monday morning. I really do not want an induction though, so I'm hoping that she just comes on her own ASAP! Thanks for checking on me. ;)

Tracy - Doctors seem to use the term sonogram/ultrasound interchangeably. It's the same thing as far as I know. They called my first ultrasound a sonogram, but it was the same procedure. Congrats on getting to hear the heart beat! There's something so special about hearing it the first time...

Janie - We are naming her Akadia Lakeyn. It's a little off the wall and different, but so are we. She will have the exact same initials as me. ;) I'll give her a little belly pat for you. :) (Little trivia fact - Akadia is actually a place in India and it was over 100 there today!)
