    TTCers m/c support 04-06-09

Hi everyone. I just went back to the Dr. yesterday at 11 1/2 weeks and he couldn't hear a heartbeat so I go back in 2 weeks (it's normal this early not to hear one). I'm also borderline low on iron so he wants me to supplement-as if I wasn't having enough trouble w/ constipation. Good news - I...

    Loosing baby weight?

It took me about 4 1/2 months. I started working out 1 week after DD was born. Don't get discouraged - as a general rule of thumb they say "9 months to put it on, 9 months to take it off." Everybody is different - especially if your nursing - your body does hang on to fat stores.

    pregnancy cramps?????????

I had the same thing with DD and in this pregnancy. My Dr. told me not to worry about it either. As long as you're not having any bleeding I wouldn't worry about it. I know how scary it can be though. Take care

    TTCers m/c support

Hi everyone! I'm 10 1/2 weeks and still feeling nauseous. On Tuesday my DH gave me a shot that must have gone in at the wrong angle because I have a bright purple bruise the size of a grapefruit on my belly. My DD thinks I'm carrying an easter egg in my belly that I'll take out and fill with...

    Chub in a Tub

Had to pop in to say he's adorable. He looks soo long in that first pic. I remember my DD's first bath. She screamed and screamed and screamed and.....Well, you get the idea. I read a quote the other day "Deciding to have a child is deciding to have your heart outside your body for the rest...

Those against a modifier in high impact workouts, what's the downside?

I have to agree with AJock. I just like the overall look of everyone in unison, especially in cardio workouts. Don't get me wrong, I still preordered and I wouldn't change my mind if Cathe decided to use modifiers.

TTC/Miscarriage Support Week of Mar. 22

Sorry I didn't get to post sooner - my DD had to spend the night in the hospital for dehydration and low blood sugar from the flu. Anyway, the ultrasound went great! The baby is measuring 9W1D which is exactly where I am and the heart rate was 188. I just laid there on the table and cried -...

TTC/Miscarriage Support Week of Mar. 22

Getting things started here. Hope everyone is doing well. Tomorrow is my ultrasound so I'm trying to think positive. I'm trying to stay off the internet because I tend to think I have an internet degree in medicine. It was at this point (9 1/2 weeks) that I found out that the heart rate...

TTC/Miscarriage Support Week of Mar. 15

Hi everybody. On Monday my HCG levels were 137,000 and on Thursday they were 155,000. The nurse had told me that they would double but when she got the results she told me they won't double since the numbers are that high. I had looked it up online and they seem to be in the normal range but...

I MUST bid farewell to my latest junk food addiction!

You enabler, you! I always think that the sooner I eliminate any temptation the sooner I'll be able to get back on track. Somehow, something else always seems to appeal to my taste buds. (Cinnamon Bears..MMMMM!)

    Is it realistic...

Experts don't really recommend losing more than 1-2 pounds per week. If you lose 2 pounds per week it will put you very close to your goal. Just make sure you don't cut calories too much because that will backfire on you and with your workouts you need the fuel(how much fuel depends on how...

    People & their ridiculous gossip

I feel bad for you. I just don't know if I could ignore it. I'm clearly not the outspoken controversial type. But, I think I would call people out on it in a somewhat subtle way. For example, next time you're in a situation where you're out with your coworkers (and the other guy) just...

TTC/Miscarriage Support Week of Mar. 15

Hi everyone, I went back to the MD today because I had a tiny bit of spotting and cramping yesterday. He checked me and found nothing and said it must have been my imagination because if I had bleeding he would have found traces of it. I'm still cramping but he didn't seem to be bothered by...

TTC/Miscarriage Support Week of Mar. 15

Hi ladies. I'm still very nauseated. I even wake up at around 2am feeling that way. I finally called my MD and got some anti-nausea medication which seems to take the edge off. I've been eating chicken soup and mashed potatoes and that's all that even sounds remotely appealing. I did Bootcamp...
