    Muscle Lost with LM&R?

Remember that’s over 5 months so there were times where fat loss was greater and times when I was gaining muscle One of the fasting protocols I followed encouraged a surge of HGH. I timed my minimal resistance training to take advantage of it. The fasting protocols were medical. The exercise...

    Muscle Lost with LM&R?

You’re welcome. I know that exercise well! I was also weaker in those types of movements on the left.

    Muscle Lost with LM&R?

That’s terrific that you’re seeing improvement! Has your instructor looked closely at your left shoulder arm and lower ribs? I ask because at one point I was slightly unweighting my my left low ribs in supine as I initiated Pilates movements. It impacted my right hip. It was so slight that it...

    Muscle Lost with LM&R?

I have been struggling with whether or not to post this because most people don’t believe it but here goes. First of all a body in balance is immediately a stronger body than one out of balance. It’s usually a less painful body. (Putting people back into balance was my business before I...

    Poll: Weight Bench Set Up

Definitely light weights on the Stability Ball and yes, I had the BodyBlady series on VHS before upgrading to DVD. I don’t lift really heavy anymore. I leaned out a whole lot over the last year and my muscles look bigger. Probably all smoke and mirrors but I’m happy to maintain.

    Poll: Weight Bench Set Up

I have a full size step with regular and incline risers. Last year I treated myself to Cathe’s step mat. We also have a folding bench that adjusts to various angles. It’s quick to set up/adjust/take down and stands upright out of the way when not in use. DH always uses the bench. I use one or...

Our 503rd Cathe Live Broadcast From The 2024 Cathe Glassboro Road Trip

What strikes me is the good form and ability to modify you see in the participants. Chances are excellent that they learned that doing Cathe workouts. That’s a huge feather in her cap and a testament to her ability to program and instruct exercise. Wow!

Let’s Get to the Core of the Matter!

When I successfully did this a few times in a row I was barefoot. I didn’t think to mention it before because I tend to be barefoot more often than not.

Let’s Get to the Core of the Matter!

I tried it and can do it pretty easily but I need to position the roller carefully between my feet. I also do a ton of this kind of work and am so interested in Cathe’s take on it.

    Cathe's New Weightlifting Belts

I used one years ago when I used to lift really heavy. They definitely make a difference. What I immediately like about the STS lifting belt is the waist contour. My old belt was rectangular and it used to dig into my lower ribs because of my small waist. These look like they would support but...

Yes, thanks for the reminder. Given the shorter length of some of the bonuses I can see your concern now.
