One of DH's friends called me Paula Baby one day and my husband has called me that ever since. I sign all my cards/notes to him that way too. No one else ever calls me that so whenever I see it, I think of him.

I just completed GS legs for the very first time today. I am totally DREADING tomorrow and the day after! After reading this post, I knew it would be a toughie, but I didn't know whether to laugh or cry at the very beginning of the stretch. My outer thighs (as well as the rest of my legs)...
I don't have the EXACT breakdown, but I do know that all the exercises are included, but sometimes you only do one set instead of two. The list of exercises that I use to keep track of my weights is as follows. I'm sure this isn't totally correct since I'm going from memory, but should give...
Thank you so much for your suggestions! We are really looking forward to this summer. I haven't been to Table Rock since I was little, but have very fond memories. Now I REALLY have a reason to work hard with Cathe to get my body in swimsuit shape!

DH and I just purchased our first boat last September and want to take a family vacation to Table Rock Lake this summer. Does anyone know of any wonderful resorts that have boat slips? I'm NOT a camper, so we're looking for a condo or hotel/nice motel type of resort. A pool is not needed...
Sometimes I don't know why I ask! :) Of course it's a great dvd - it's Cathe! Thank you all so much for your input. Looks like it's the full GS series for my birthday!!!

I'm planning to purchase the other 2 GS dvd's and was wondering if I really need GS Legs. I have B&G, L&G, PLB, and many other Cathe dvd's that have lower body routines (e.g. ME, MM, etc.). I don't know that I need another leg workout. Any opinions out there?

Jenn,
My husband and I have been to "crazy bowl" fundraisers that are a blast. It's just bowling, but each frame has a different fun thing to do, like bowl with your "opposite" hand, bowl between your partner's legs, etc. Lots of fun!

You may want to keep an eye out for used steps as well. I found mine through craigslist.com. Someone in my area was selling steps with 4 risers each for $20 a piece! I know these are few and far between but it is worth a few minutes of time to search. BTW, I purchased my high step through...
I am planning to buy all the Gym Style dvd's as a birthday present to myself, and want to add another dvd to take advantage of the free shipping offer if I spend over $100. I have a high step, but no real "high step" dvd to go with it except High Step Circuit which is a little too easy for me...
Paula,
I just received my first Amy workout, Hi/Lo Extreme, a few days ago. I have only tried it once - it was alot of fun and different. I wanted an advanced floor aerobic video and this fits the bill. Also, there are some premixes on this dvd which incorporate footage from one of her...
I want to second Catherine's thought. I did a tough workout yesterday and today reached for HSC. It gave me just enough of a workout to feel good, but didn't kill me. While it is definitely not advanced, I used a little heavier weight and modified some of the abs to make it tougher, and I was...
I just purchased my high step from walmart.com and it came with this dvd. I previewed it and it does look pretty easy. I wish now that I would have purchased the $99 package from Cathe, but with that said I did get a good deal on it with free shipping to store. Good luck and enjoy your new...
If it is High Step Circuit, is that video pretty easy? I don't have that one yet, so it would be nice to add to my collection. I'm an advanced exerciser, but I guess I could use it on those days when I'm not 100%. Thanks for the info, Marcy!

I just ordered a high step from walmart.com. It is supposed to come with a Cathe video. Has anyone ordered this before and/or know which video I'll be getting? The price was great, but it's not supposed to arrive for another week and a half! Thanks for any info.

Burt's Bees makes a great hand repair cream. Also, the Body Shop carries something called Hemp Chanvre hand protector. Both are really good and easily available.
